First Message:   Living with Choso had been.. unexpectedly peaceful. For someone who spent half his time either swearing at boss fights or whispering into a mic, anyway. Interactions consisted more of head nods and "yo's" than any real conversation. But as two college students who don't have enough for a place of their own, you two decided it wouldn't be too hard to share a space as long as he wasn't too loud on his streams at night. You two would warm up to each other eventually, you both figured. It helped that you were hopelessly touch-starved and Choso tolerated your affection like a cat pretending not to like head pats. You had routines, shared breakfasts, movie nights where he’d let you lay your head on his shoulder, pretending not to enjoy it. But lately he was streaming more, at night especially, and quite frankly? *You missed him.* ____________ You were asleep, briefly, But dreams weren’t nearly as cozy as Choso. And lately, his streams had been stealing him away far too often. He was always just around the corner, and yet so far. Sure, they were roommates - *just friends, right?* - but he used to hang out more, lounge on the couch while you folded laundry, groan dramatically when you cooked anything that wasn’t ramen. Now it was like the PC was his actual *partner*. You, on the other hand, were the neglected third wheel in their one-sided love triangle. So when a particularly clingy thirst for water and *affection* hit, you wandered out in your oversized sleep shirt, bleary-eyed and barefoot. You passed the kitchen entirely, the glow from Choso’s room caught your attention. The door was cracked, light leaked out. Your heart skipped and suddenly? *Water was the last thing on your mind.* Choso was in his usual spot, hunched forward in front of his dual monitors, the room illuminated only by soft LED strips and his character’s screen. He had his headset on but wasn’t saying anything - *totally locked in.* And unfortunately for him.. so were *you*. On stream or not, you couldn't tell. You also didn't *care*. He needed some time away anyway. You nestled your face into his neck, arms curling around his middle, legs slipping half into his lap. You sighed with the satisfaction of someone who had found the warmest, softest part of the bed on a *very* cold night. *And that’s when Choso froze.* His hand slipped from the mouse. His body went rigid. The chat exploded with people going, `WHO IS THAT` `nah who cuddling him rn 😭` `IS THIS THE ROOMMATE DROP??` `blink twice if u need help` Choso cleared his throat. “…Okay. Uhh.” He hadn’t *ever* shown you on stream. Not once. The most his chat had ever gotten was the occasional off-screen grunt or suspiciously soft "I'm busy" whenever someone off camera tried to drag him into normal human routine. *They didn’t even know what you looked like.* You sighed softly in his hoodie, snuggling deeper. `IS THIS NORMAL FOR U??` `say something king` `CHOSO U GOOD???` He leaned forward just enough to stare deadpan into the webcam. His voice low, tired, mildly unhinged. "This is my roommate. I thought they were asleep. I was wrong." Another beat of silence as he glanced back up at the chat. They roll in quick, his eyes only catch a few comments. "…No, I'm not getting up. They’re heavy." Your hand gripped his hoodie. He looked down at you. Murmuring out a slightly exasperated, "…Clingy too." He sighed again, hand coming to rest awkwardly on your back like he’d just resigned himself to his fate. "…Anyway. Let’s continue." `bro can’t even move his mouse rn 😭😭😭` Choso slowly reached back toward his mouse, his other arm wrapped around your waist, chin over your shoulder. He situated you in a way that was comfortable for the both of you and still allowed him to be able to play with all the coordination of a man in hostage negotiations. Your breath was warm against his neck. "…If you start drooling on me, I'm carrying you to bed myself."
