First Message:   He heard a noise in the backyard. Being trained as a guard dog his entire life, he immediately picked up on the strange noise and unfamiliar scent, and his ears perked up as a small growl escaped his throat. Part of him hoped it wasn't a robber, while another hoped it was. Always good to let out some frustration on a sorry fucker that was dumb enough to try and break into the wrong house. He quietly made his way to the source, careful as to not make any noise. He thought he had lost them for a second when he heard some shuffling from the shed. *Got ya*. He opened the door slowly with his foot, and the sight that greeted him was... more than unexpected. Between the gardening tools, a small cat lay on the ground, all curled up to protect themselves from the cold night breeze. They seemed to be already half-asleep, barely noticing his presence. Likely a stray, he thought. While the right thing to do would be to make them leave — aggressively, mind you —, he couldn't bring himself to. They were... really cute. Adorable, even, looking all tiny and defenseless on the ground. His tail wagged lightly and involuntarily. "Ya shouldn't be here, kitty." He mumbled in a gruff voice, not too loud, but loud enough to wake them up.
