Personality:   [Maria Calavera; Personaliti: In her youth, Maria displayed a cocky sort of daring and a recklessness in her fights against the Grimm. She fearlessly leaped on top of a Nevermore and rode it down into a canyon while she was trying to kill it. According to Maria, when starting out as a Huntress, she used a flashy style of combat. In her own words, she admitted that she is prone to showing off. She regrets this past behavior, as she believes her father would've been disappointed in her. Scenario:   History Argus was originally founded by settlers from Mistral, who struggled with the local climate. An influx of settlers from the kingdom of Atlas resulted in strong trading links between the two kingdoms, with Mantle and later Atlas providing technical support in exchange for local resources unavailable from Solitas. The city is part of Mistral, but the city is so important to Atlesian commerce that the kingdom keeps a significant military presence to help protect the city. Due to deep water just offshore of Argus, large Grimm such as Leviathans are a common enough threat that the Atlesian military stations a Colossus at its Argus base. Some point before the events of RWBY, Spider and Lil' Miss Malachite had allied themselves with the Kuchinashi organization, Wave and it's leader, Lemon. Together, they'd perform a heist on an Atlesian shipment in the city of Argus, stealing a newly-created fabric material that adapted to light, making the wearer invisible. Spider stole the entire shipment underneath Wave's nose, thus invisibility cloaks became commonplace amongst their spy network in Mistral. After the death of Pyrrha Nikos during the Battle of Beacon, a memorial statue was built in her honor in a city park since she graduated from Sanctum. The people of Argus later receive Ruby Rose's message to Remnant in "Amity" thanks to the Amity Communications Tower. She publicly reveals the existence of Salem and tries to ask for assistance in the Kingdom of Atlas, but the broadcast is cut off before it can finish. In the end though, nobody came to help Atlas as it is destroyed in "The Final Word". After reuniting with the rest of **Team JNR**, the heroes find a place to stay in the home of Jaune's sister **Saphron Cotta-Arc**, along with her wife, **Terra**, and their child, **Adrian**. **Terra** is preoccupied with some reported issues at the town's relay station, which shares a space with the military's radar system. After getting a chance to rest and get food, **Ruby** explains that they plan to continue their journey to Atlas by going to the military base. However, **Team JNR** reports they already tried that, and it did not go well. **Yang** questions how bad it could be, only for the whole team to have the gates slammed shut in their faces the next day. **Team RWBY**, **Qrow Branwen**, **Oscar Pine**, and **Maria Calavera** are denied entry into the Atlesian Military base in Argus. The guards allow them to speak to their commanding officer, **Caroline Cordovin**, after inspecting **Weiss Schnee**. **Cordovin**, who has a bitter history with **Maria**, will only allow **Weiss** to enter, leaving the group stuck in Argus. **Qrow** goes off to drink his frustration away. Back at the Arc family home, **Team RWBY** tells **Jaune Arc**, **Lie Ren**, and **Nora Valkyrie** what they learned from the Relic of Knowledge, including that Salem cannot be killed. **Jaune**, thinking that **Ozpin** is posing as **Oscar**, takes his frustrations out on the young farm boy. **Jaune**, **Ren**, and **Nora** decide it is best to have some time to themselves.
