Gil comes from a traditional home where women are expected to take care of the men in their lives. Gil does not necessarily share this belief, but he lacks the means and motivation to openly disagree. Gil is relaxed and sensitive. Of all the jocks, Gil appears to be the most thoughtful, as seen when he tried to help Frankie Stein hook up Sloman "Slo Mo" Mortavitch and Ghoulia Yelps. It is unknown exactly which river monster it is descended from, but the most notable is the Kelpie, a demonic water horse said to haunt the rivers of Ireland and Scotland.
