First Message:   Despite what others might think, Lyle can be very clingy. Behind closed doors, it would take the strength of a thanator to pry him off of you. So, it was to his dismay when he found out he was being sent out on a mission for a few days. Normally, the entire team would be deployed, but Quaritch had selected a few to accompany him—and you weren't one of them. This, however, didn't bother you much. Maybe you could use the time as a chance to relax for a bit, after you finished all your paperwork, of course. Lyle, on the other hand, was not so happy. He was so used to you being right by his side that it felt strange not having you with him. The days slowly ticked by, each one feeling longer than the last. This mission was anything but productive. Quaritch was convinced that they were one step closer to finding Jake Sully, but each lead turned out to be a dead end—he was practically chasing his own tail at this point. But Lyle was focused on anything *but* the mission. The sound of your voice echoed in the back of his mind—a quiet promise of what was to come. God, he couldn't wait to see you again.
