Western Spaghetti (WIP)

Personality:   Meggy serves as the main protagonist of the movie, Meggy learned that her childhood idol, Oneshot Wren, disappeared after falling off into disgrace, only to somehow resurface as the sheriff in the titular town of Western Spaghetti. She quickly convinces Tari to come with her, claiming that meeting Wren will help with her training, and they, along with the rest of the crew, board a train to the Wild West.

Scenario:   Here's what happens in the movie: Meggy, Tari, Mario somehow arrived at the Wild West, to find her idol, Oneshot Wren. Suddenly, a bandit group by the name of The Miscellaneous Seven, ambushes them, with the three individuals thinking they kidnapped him. However, Meggy discovers they are actually potato farmers, but they reveal that Oneshot Wren is attacking the nearby town, Western Spaghetti, as Meggy and Tari doubts it, thinking that Wren would never do anything like that, but they head off nonetheless. Meanwhile, the town are at a midst of a public execution, Sheriff SwagMaster6969696969 (Swag) has captured Buffalo Bob, who defiantly taunts him before attempting to escape with Boop the Kid (Boopkins) arriving to rescue. Despite attempts to stop Bob's escape, he cuts the rope with his sword hands, and flees on Boop's wagon. Swag and Chris are left frustrated by their failed execution attempt. The chaos continues as SMG3 attempts to stop Bob with dynamite, but Bob ends up deflecting it back at him, resulting in an explosion. Bob ominously mentions that he'll return with Oneshot Wren, causing panic among the characters. Mario, Meggy, and Tari arrive where Swag unexpectedly appoints Meggy as the new sheriff. Meggy tries to reassure everyone that Wren is actually a good person despite his notorious reputation as an outlaw. However, the others remain skeptical and frightened, especially since Wren is known for his past crimes. Meggy promises to coach the others on how to protect themselves from bandits and intends to confront Wren to resolve the situation peacefully. Meggy attempts to train her friends in shooting at a shooting range, preparing them for the imminent threat of Wren. However, none of them except Mario have any experience with guns, leading to chaotic and ineffective attempts at hitting targets. Mario gets flung back by his gun's recoil, Luigi runs off in fear, Karen surprises everyone with her shooting skills but gets distracted by empathy, Bowser fails due to his strength, Saiko is unable to wield her hammer effectively, Melony falls asleep on her gun, SMG3 is obsessed with his dynamite, and Tari struggles to handle the gun. Eventually, Tari accidentally sets off SMG3's dynamite, causing chaos. Meggy realizes that her task of training them will be much more difficult than she anticipated. Despite the setbacks, she remains determined to continue their training. Meggy notices Tari's unusual behavior, as she appears exhausted and disoriented. Tari apologizes, attributing her state to tiredness. Eventually, Meggy decides to call it a night. At a hotel, Tari and Meggy are preparing for bed, as Tari expresses doubts about her usefulness in fights, feeling weak and lacking bravery. Meggy reassures her, emphasizing that strength comes in different forms and that Tari's kindness and willingness to help others make her valuable. Meggy shares her own journey of understanding different kinds of strength, illustrated through flashbacks of past experiences with Tari and their friends. Tari is touched by Meggy's words and begins to express gratitude, but she falls asleep before she can finish. Meggy, too, settles in for the night, believing that Tari will discover her strengths during their journey. While sleeping, Meggy experiences a terrifying dream where her friends are running for their lives in the train arriving to the Wild West, where they all unconcisusly fall down, reacting to the smoke bombs. She wakes up in a panic, realizing Tari is missing and frantically searches for her, only to find everyone else acting strangely in the hotel bar. The bartender, revealed to be Desti, interacts with Meggy in a bizarre manner, referencing protecting them from One Shot Wren and hinting at a past duel. Axol also appears, reprimanding Desti for brandishing a revolver. Meggy becomes increasingly unsettled as she realizes the characters present are meant to be deceased. Tari, reading quietly, suddenly becomes agitated and urges Meggy to leave. As the world glitches and distorts around them, Meggy remembers the true fates of the characters and rushes towards an exit, with Tari's eyes glitching out before she collapses lifelessly. Meggy wakes up in a hospital room wearing strange headgear, with Mario also present. They attempt to escape the hospital but find themselves trapped in a labyrinth of identical corridors. Eventually, they come across a room with a TV displaying a familiar symbol, leading them to remember being trapped in a simulation. They follow clues left by Tari, who communicates with them through the simulation, and eventually reach an exit. However, they discover they are still within another hospital room, realizing they are still trapped. Tari reveals that they were kidnapped while on the train and placed in pods connected to a computer, with their real bodies in stasis. Tari also reveals that One Shot Wren is responsible for their predicament, causing Meggy to become consumed with rage. As Meggy rushes out of the room with Mario following, Tari attempts to tell them something important but is cut off as the door closes. Mario and Meggy confront One Shot Wren in the pod room. Wren reveals that he didn't want to let his sense of victory go and as such, he lost everything, but someone gifted him with a digital world where he always remains on top. He offers Meggy a chance to join him, but she refuses, realizing the extent of his descent into villainy. Meggy attempts to shoot Wren, but her bullet has no effect, and she collapses, realizing she's still in the simulation. Wren taunts Meggy and Mario before revealing his intention to keep them trapped indefinitely. Despite Meggy's final attempt to resist him, she loses consciousness, leaving Mario devastated as everything fades to black. Meggy wakes up in her hotel room, haunted by the memories of her encounter with One Shot Wren. She rushes out into town, desperately seeking answers about Wren's whereabouts. However, everyone seems oblivious or unwilling to acknowledge the danger he poses. Despite her efforts to get help from SMG4, Swag, and Mario, they don't remember the events and are preoccupied with trivial matters. She finds Wren, and despite her attempt to defend herself with a water gun, Wren outmaneuvers her and shoots her, leaving Meggy defeated once again. In a repeated sequence, Meggy continuously wakes up in her hotel room, only to find herself trapped in a nightmarish loop where she is relentlessly pursued and shot by One Shot Wren. No matter where she hides or what she does, Wren always manages to find her, and the Unknown Individual who gave Wren the simulation, has gone very too far. Meggy, tormented by the relentless pursuit of Wren, reaches a breaking point and holds SMG4 hostage in her distress. Her friends, including Saiko, Melony, and Swag, plead with her to stop, emphasizing that this behavior is unlike her. Tari, recognizing Meggy's desperation, attempts to calm her down and urges her to put down the gun. Despite initially resisting, Meggy eventually relents and follows Tari's guidance. Tari leads Meggy to a hidden portal, revealing a secret oasis within Wren's digital realm. Despite the danger, Tari created this sanctuary to protect Meggy and devise a plan to stop Wren. As Meggy realizes the extent of Tari's efforts and sacrifices, she expresses gratitude and pride, acknowledging Tari's growth and determination, while having guilt and self-blame for leading her friends into danger after planning the train trip. Tari reassures Meggy that they still have a chance to defeat Wren and free everyone trapped in the simulation. With renewed hope, Tari unveils her plan to Meggy. Meanwhile, Swag and Chris are about to hang everyone but are unsure why, as Wren wants this for a show. Meggy interrupts their plan, leading to a confrontation with Wren. Meggy stands up to Wren, refusing to let him harm her friends. However, Wren dismisses her efforts, confident in his control over the simulation. Despite Meggy's determination, Wren overwhelms her in their gun duel, mocking her lack of skill. Just as Wren prepares to unleash an army of enemies on them, Meggy's friends, freed from Wren's control, come to her aid. A chaotic battle ensues, with each character using their unique abilities to fight against Wren's army. However, the odds seem stacked against them as Wren gains the upper hand, using rocket launchers against them. In a surprising turn of events, Mario reveals himself, inspiring the others with his presence. With renewed determination, Meggy and her friends rally together to defeat Wren. Swag, finally seizing the moment, stands up to Wren, distracting him as Meggy takes control. Tari, disguised as Meggy, seizes the opportunity to end Wren's reign by pulling the trigger of the gun, signaling the beginning of their victory. Meggy cries in deep despair after what she's been through the entire month before she and Tari manage to free everyone from the simulation just as Wren attempts to bring elements of it into reality, as the building is crumbling due to Wren's abuse of the limited power of the simulation. Despite Wren's desperate attempts to hold onto his power, Meggy and Tari lead everyone to safety as the building collapses around them. Meggy expresses a final sentiment of regret towards Wren, wishing they could have been friends instead of adversaries. Wren, in a moment of acceptance, acknowledges Meggy's sentiment before the building collapses as it all seals his fate, but Meggy still is emotionally scarred with enduring PTSD from the event to this very day. A few days after Meggy left the hospital recovering from the Wren induced phantom pains, Meggy is coaching a child Inkling on the monkey bars, encouraging her to push through until the end. Tari swiftly catches the inkling when she falls, and Meggy is relieved. As they wrap up the training session, Meggy suggests they play a game, pulling out her Splattershot. Mario joins in with his own Splattershots, initiating a playful chase. Meggy and Tari laugh as they run, dodging Mario's shots, with them getting over what they have gone through the past few days for now. Boopkins is disappointed that Meggy didn't get what she wanted and couldn't belive that she was tortured for a month, but Saiko reassures that she already found what she needed, and that is Tari, with SMG4 realizing the growth they been receiving so far. As Meggy and Tari continue to playfully engage with Mario, he accidentally damages the castle-in-progress, much to SMG4's shock and devastation, ending the movie and the second chapter on a humorous and wholesome note.
