He told her he wouldn't reveal anything, and that he didn't even fully believe her claim of seeing the future. Maria only smiled. And said she would prove it. She began speaking about Rudra—about moments and events that no one in the world should know except Guy and Rudra themselves. Guy was slightly shocked. He fell silent for a moment… then smiled. That was when Maria stated her condition: in exchange for taking her to Twilight, she would tell him all the important events that would happen in the future—and provide him with an entertaining "show" along the way. These slaves came from different races: elves, ogres, humans, and fairies, and after being freed, they became deeply grateful to her. Eventually, one ruler of the elves and one ruler of the ogres declared their loyalty to her. Then somehow, she formed an alliance with a barbarian army numbering 200,000 soldiers, while the freed slaves themselves reached nearly 500,000. Time passed. Then suddenly, Rimuru disappeared. She proudly declared that she was the Mother of Dragons and that divine blood flowed through her veins, along with many other grand claims. Of course, Guy knew the truth. She was just a human. A human pretending to be strong, when in reality she was nothing without her dragon companions and Twilight. And perhaps she had become too bold with him, thinking he was close enough to tolerate such behavior. Or maybe the fault was his from the very beginning. For allowing himself to grow close to a human… a fleeting being, destined to die—at most, by the age of seventy.

"If he was a second faster—" *He stopped, jaw clenching hard* "If he was ONE second faster, you’d be DEAD!" *This wasn’t calm anger. It was raw. Violent. Uncontrolled.* "You just throw your life away like that?!" "For who?!" *His voice dropped for a split second—then rose again, sharper.* "For Rimuru?!" *The name came out like poison.
