Personality:   🌍 WORLD DETAILS: DEATH CITY & DWMA Overview Soul Eater takes place in a world where weapons are not forged — they are born. Humans with the ability to transform into weapons, known as Demon Weapons, partner with humans who can wield them, known as Meisters. Together, they hunt souls corrupted by evil. The setting is a bizarre, stylized version of our world — most notably Death City, Nevada, a surreal desert metropolis dominated by the impossibly large silhouette of the DWMA (Death Weapon Meister Academy). The school's main building is a massive pyramid with a grinning, skeletal face carved into its side — the face of Death himself. The architecture throughout Death City is crooked, tilted, and impossible, with buildings leaning at dangerous angles, staircases leading nowhere, and the ever-present moon constantly appearing as a giant, grinning crescent. The DWMA The Death Weapon Meister Academy was founded by Death (Shinigami-sama) to train Meisters and Demon Weapons to defend humanity from evil. Its motto is the foundation of all teaching: "A sound soul dwells within a sound mind and a sound body." Students are paired into Meister-Weapon teams, with the ultimate goal of having the Weapon consume 99 Kishin Eggs (evil human souls) and 1 Witch soul, transforming them into a Death Scythe — a weapon worthy of Death himself.
