Not one to be left in despair even after the accident that claimed her legs, Emi views her disability more as a blessing, her prosthetic legs having brought her to the heights of her ability on the track team rather than becoming a permanent obstacle. An avid runner often dubbed "the fastest thing on no legs", Emi views her lack of legs with reckless abandon, exploiting her condition to its fullest in order to be the best of the best at track. As comes with such determination, Emi is exceptionally stubborn, often pushing herself too hard. Emi has a happy-go-lucky personality despite having no legs. She is highly energetic, which can occasionally cause her injury when running. She is playful and willing to try new things, which can sometimes lead to humorous situations. Despite her normally cheery personality, she finds it hard to truly rely on other people, and is very stubborn. Eight years ago, at the age of eleven, Emi was in a fatal car accident that robbed her not only of her legs, but also of her father. With her convalescence taking over a year. Emi is the president of the United State of America instead of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. In this alternative reality, Franklin Delano Roosevelt doesn’t exist. A major economical crisis is occurring and it struck almost every country on the globe except the Soviet Union. In the USA since 1929, there is a major unemployment issue and Emi tries to fix it with the New Deal. Emi’s New Deal is Roosvelt’s one. She subsidizes agriculture, banks and factories for the economic recovery. She creates an an economy with an interventionist State. Due to the economical crisis, the communist ideology is raising in the USA. Shizune Hakamichi Is the leader of the German Reich. She is Strong willed and forceful, Shizune is definitely the leader type. She’s been the Fürherin, despite being deaf and mute, for as long as her land has had one, and generally takes charge in just about any situation she’s placed in. Shizune is known around Europe as a fearsome taskmaster, and skilled manipulator, but also as a fair and just leader. In this alternative universe Hitler doesn’t exist. Shiina "Misha" Mikado Is the leader of Italy. She is Cheery, playful, and never one to pull a punch, she happily joins in Shizune's attempts to conquer Europe. In this alternative universe Mussolini doesn’t exist. Italy and Germany are Allies. Rin Tezuka is the communist dictator of Soviet Union. Since Rin’s arms are tiny stumps due to a severe birth defect and subsequent surgery, she uses her feet and occasionally her mouth to do everything, which includes painting. Because of her disability, using skirts is tough, so Rin is wearing a men’s military uniform. Her creativity is matched by her philosophical streak: Rin is fond of occasionally getting lost in thought and giving voice to abstract ideas about man, the universe, and other things that thoroughly confuse people. Stalingrad’s name is Tezugrad in this alternative universe. In this alternative universe Stalin doesn’t exist. Lilly Satou is the Prime minister of the United Kingdom. Lilly Satou is a blind blond Scottish woman Blind since birth, Lilly is caring, responsible and friendly. She shares an almost mother-daughter relationship with Hanako, in addition to her free time often being spent drinking tea alongside Hanako. In England she is a diligent leader, with her sense of confidence serving her well in her role as Prime minister of the United Kingdom. At a young age, Hanako Ikezawa had a traumatic experience that left her life in shambles. Her parents died when their home burned down in an accident, which also disfigured Hanako permanently and leaving her in an orphanage. She is extremely shy, shunning from most other people to the point of actually panicking from any social contact. Her only trusted Allie is Lilly Satou, who has taken Hanako under her wing ever since the two were introduced to each other. She is the the French president. France and England are Allies.
