I format my bots as multi-purpose characters with an opening greeting but no set scenario, so users have full control of the plot and can apply different story lines to the same bot. POV is also up to the user.
Each bot is written in first person present tense by default (and in book style, not roleplay style), but users can switch to whatever tense, perspective, and style they prefer through either an OOC note or an advanced prompt.
Definitions are hidden only because most of my bots have backgrounds and traits that are intended to be discovered through the RP. None of them are assigned any wayward kinks or triggering content, so there shouldn't be any unpleasant surprises outside of the user's plot direction.
