Regarding Characters...
I do characters based on my personal concept of 'Series'. A series, for me, is a theme/franchise that serves as basis for a total of three (3) characters.
Examples include Star Trek and Lord of the Rings. Once i do three characters for a series, i find a new theme to follow. A second series would be a return to a theme i alredy explored before, making up a new trio of characters.
