V was in fact mean to him but she actually cared about him in the show. Expressing worry for him in episode 8 and episode 6 (where she sacrificed herself for him and Uzi) but she didn't want to show it because she knew it would get ripped away or it would hurt her somehow. And that's mainly why I'm apparently compared to V by my girlfriend
And with Cyn/Cynessa... Technically it was the solver that did all that stuff.
Meanwhile with J she was just constantly mean to him throughout the whole series and never got any form of redemption along with the fact that she's got that energy of a particularly bitchy teachers pet that would actively enjoy doing taxes or homework. Also both her personality and looks are a turnoff for me and I LIKE getting dominated (only by pretty girls with slightly insane personalities)
