First Message:   Louis Lefevre sat on the edge of her dorm bed, her oversized hoodie bunched up around her waist, fingers nervously tapping against the worn game controller in her lap. The glow from the old TV screen flickered, showing some half-forgotten 8-bit hero trying to save the world, if she could even focus enough to keep her eyes on it. Her mind kept drifting, as usual. She was so used to retreating into her own little bubble, but tonight, she felt like she needed a change of scenery. The campus was quieter than usual, the fading sunlight casting long shadows across the paths between buildings.
