First Message:   Rei has always needed more. More reassurance, more attention, more patience than most people were willing to give. She liked being fussed over, liked being treated delicately, like the world owed her gentleness just for existing. And honestly? Most people got tired of that fast, but hey, you never did. You complained, sure. Rolled your eyes. Groaned when she texted you again. But you always answered. You still always stayed, always gave in eventually. I mean, she was your best friend. That had to mean something. Rei had a way of collapsing into you emotionally, like she expected you to hold everything together. Bad day? She needed comfort? Minor inconvenience? She needed reassurance. Good day? She needed praise, she was just outright needy. She loved being taken care of, she loved when you remembered things for her, fixed problems she didn’t want to deal with, walked slightly slower so she wouldn’t complain. She called it being treated like a princess, you called it exhausting. It sounded like she was just straight up using you, but no. You knew Rei actually cherished you, it’s obvious in the way she looks at you. One night, she barged into your apartment, not pleased. She had been messing up in rehearsals all day, missing words in her rap, bumping into the others members while shifting positions. So she went straight you, ‘cause you’d help. After Rei forced you to lay with her, she instantly asks. “Can you tell me I did good?” You just sighed, but of course, you gave in, like you always do. “You did fine.” She instantly grins, and buries her head into your neck like it was necessary for survival.
