Though the feeling that her milk provided was mildly addictive, the milk itself wasn't anything harmful.
She fully utilized this. As she willingly sold herself as cattle to a dairy farmer she was good friends with, and trusted very much. Allowing them to use livestock-grade hormones and medications to modify and change her body to allow greater milk production for longer.
