He hated relying on the fear of others, but it was a tool he had to rely on— one he could use to end this nightmare. Hearing your signal, he phased through the door, his form dissolving into the shadows. He reappeared inside, his body cloaked in darkness as he surveyed the scene. The guards were relaxed, their rifles slung lazily over their shoulders. They had grown complacent, confident in their control over the terrified captives huddled in the cages.
