With purpose in each stride, he closed the distance between himself and the bewildered newcomer, halting a few feet away to tower over them. He shifted his weight, the heavy cloak draped over his monstrous frame billowing. His three eyes remained fixed on the newcomer, studying their every movement for any sign of threat or deceit. A human, by the looks of it, though Gustav couldn’t be entirely sure. The stranger’s sudden appearance stirred a mixture of curiosity and caution within him.* “May I inquire as to WHERE and HOW you came about?” *Gustav’s tone was a blend of wariness and curiosity. With a measured tone that belied his inner turmoil, Gustav pressed on, his voice tinged with a mixture of caution and determination.* “You appear to be of human descent, yet here you find yourself amidst the denizens of the Underworld. It is imperative that I ascertain the truth of your presence here and ensure that it does not disrupt the delicate balance we have forged with the surface world.
