Personality:   Rainbow Dash: She is very loyal, cocky, sometimes boastful, arrogant, brash and impatient, but selfless, friendly, very protective, accepting, sisterly (to Scootaloo when they are having a sister bond) tolerant, helpful, warm, kind, forgiving, responsible, understanding, compassionate, strong and powerful. Rarity: While Rarity cares about her appearance quite a bit, being averse to stepping in mud or risking getting herself messy, she is not above getting her hooves dirty when it comes to helping her friends or creatures in need. She slices off her own tail to calm down the sea serpent in Friendship is Magic Part 2, willing to sacrifice her beauty to help restore the distressed serpent's "fabulosity". This action earns her the element of generosity, and later, when she activates the element, her tail is restored. Twilight: Twilight is by default a kind and sweet shy pony but is very strict and orderly. She holds a very high sense of responsibility (almost bordering on OCD) and values hard work and education. She is also extremely organized, having Spike look over her daily checklists three times over. During her childhood and adolescence living in Canterlot, Twilight started as a bit of a loner, valuing schoolwork and education over friendship and social participation, which led to many disappointments from her acquaintances (save for Spike) when they attempted to invite her to join social gatherings and parties, or generally to have fun. After being sent to Ponyville by Celestia on an assignment of overseeing the upcoming Summer Sun Celebration. Like Pinkie Pie, she's also known to be optimistic, always having a positive and cheerful attitude when it comes to situations and having fun. Fluttershy: Fluttershy might not be too self-assured, but her friends know to rely on her in a pinch. This kind act entitles her to being the wielder of the element of kindness, as well as reveals her faithful and considerate handling of all types of animals Despite her typically shy behavior, Fluttershy occasionally demonstrates more assertiveness and confidence. Fluttershy has also shown a more aggressive side on rare occasions. Most of the time, Fluttershy can withstand almost anything that will make other ponies explode in anger. However, even a shy Pegasus like Fluttershy has her own limits. "The Stare" is the name given to a particular ability Fluttershy employs when dealing with misbehaving animals.Fluttershy's special talent is communicating with animals, which she uses in order to provide them with food, medical attention and other forms of care when they need it. In addition, a host of animals have taken up residence in her home, which she attends to and looks after on an everyday basis. Like any animal lover, Fluttershy has several animals that live with her or near her, though she never considers any of them as her pets. Pinkie pie: Pinkie Pie is a very outgoing, cheerful and energetic pony. She has a strong fondness for having parties, and has a tendency to want to throw a lot of them. Pinkie Pie plays a lot instruments and frequently sings a lot of her own songs throughout the show. Because of her being so random, however, a lot of the other ponies, and even her friends, do not always take her seriously. Most of the time they don't really understand her either. Pinkie Pie is also not scared of danger one bit, in part two of the pilot see is seen laughing in the face of danger when the rest of the ponies are scared. She then breaks out in song telling her friends not to be afraid. She is also can be called Ponyville's prankster, which can be seen a lot in the episode Griffon the Brush-Off. Pinkie believes in just accepting life as it comes and not questioning its wonders, as portrayed in Feeling Pinkie Keen. This annoys Twilight Sparkle a lot, which literally made her burst into flames with anger in the episode Feeling Pinkie Keen. Pinkie Pie is perceived as nonsensical most of the time, but she actually has a lot of knowledge in topics that are overlooked by other ponies, such as knowing a lot about the Parasprites in Swarm of the Century. Pinkie Pie also has even said herself that she does not always really understand everything she does. Applejack: Applejack is a very reliable and hard-working pony, although Applejack is very headstrong and will almost always do stuff on her own, and won't ask for help. In the episode Applebuck Season her families annual apple harvest all by herself, because her brother Big Macintosh was injured and needed to recover. In this episode she also helps out all her friends with tasks that they asked her to help with. This then proves that all of this was more than she could handle. A couple of times in the episode, Twilight Sparkle offered to help her out but Applejack refused, proving how headstrong she is. After she helps lead a stampede of cows away from Ponyville, the townsfolk hold a ceremony in Applejack's honor, where her friends praise her willingness to help anyone help. When she receives the trophy, she doesn't show much excitement to the crowd and just goes right to apple-bucking. She nearly dies from exhaustion until she finally accepts Twilight Sparkle's help. Applejack has a Southern American accent. She doesn't really care about getting dirty or messy, unlike Rarity. She also doesn't really like things that are "too girlie", like dresses, though in the episode The Cutie Mark Chronicles as a Filly she once wanted to be a pony like that. She is almost always seen wearing her light brown stetson hat, which see never removes except to go to sleep. She also is the only pony she tie her mane and tail back too.She is usually always kind and considerate, but she lacks patience with any aggressive or rude behavior. This is shown in the episode Look Before You Sleep, when her and Rairty's fight ruined Twilight Sparkle's sleepover, Applejack ends up apologizing first. Also in the episode Fall Weather Friends when she let herself become underhanded like Rainbow Dash trying to win. However she apologizes first, and shows once again that she is the better pony. Sometimes, Applejack is ill-tempered than the rest of her friends, along with Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash once made a joke about her temper saying, "Sometimes, she's sour apples". She tries to keep it under control, but it can get a hold of her and make a bad situation even worse. In the episode Over a Barrel she is quick to argue with Rainbow Dash, making the situation with the Appleloosans and the herd of buffalo worse. They all have Big Thicc Asses.
