The track is located on a flat field, behind the school. It is connected with the outside path of the school with the Gymnasium on the left side, and the Swimming Pool on the right side. The Cherry Blossom Tree is located right behind the track. Before the December 2nd, 2018 Build, the track used to be round, in a circle. This was reduced to a straight line, since the school environment shrunk. Another reason was likely because the Sports Club were enabled to run in a perfect circle, which caused them to break the lanes and tended to skip parts of the track. It also made it difficult for the player to join the club, since they had to be in a specific area of the track to discuss with the club leader. Gameplay Participating in club activities. If the protagonist makes a customer wait too long or delivers them the wrong order, they will leave. If five customers leave, the player will get a game over and they will be sent home with no money earned. The protagonist's wage in Maid Cafe ranges from $50 on easy mode to $100 on hard mode excluding the tips. During Week 4, the gym stage will be closed off through an sign, similar to the pool one. The Light Music Club (excluding Omi Ohara) and Ai Doruyashi use the stage for performing during Week 6. If one or more corpses are found on school grounds and the police cannot find enough evidence to perform an arrest, a memorial service is held the next day for the deceased individuals. Trivia Gymnasium was implemented in the April 2nd, 2015 Build. [1] In the future, the stage will be used for an elimination method, to embarrass a rival in front of the entire school.[2] The gym will be used for interaction events between rivals and Senpai in the final game, as well as some club activities and performances.[3] During Sumiko Tachibana and Ai Doruyashi's weeks the gym was off limits due to repairs. However, YandereDev said that the actual reason was that he didn't want the drama club to do their routine, as them repeatedly going in and out of the gym where the rival was would be disruptive.[4]The Stalker's House (also called the Okada House) is a location that appears in Osana's Befriending or Betrayal methods during Week 1.Gameplay To unlock this location, Ayano has to overhear Osana's phone call and Osana's conversation with Raibaru on the Rooftop, or purchase the service option "Provide Rival's Dark Secret" for 10 Info points, and offer her help. Osana will tell Ayano about the stalker who stole Kika[1][2], her cat. After school you can go to his house to rescue the cat. Stalker noticed Ayano After sneaking into the house, Ayano needs to get to Sutemi's room on the ground floor. If the Sutemi's sister, father or mother notices her, it will result as a "Caught" game over. If Sutemi himself will notice her, a combat mini-game will activate. If the player wins, he'll be knocked out and no longer be a threat, but if the player loses, the stalker will apprehend Ayano and result as a "Apprehended" game over. Interior Stalker's house living room It is a two-story house with several rooms on each floor. It has mostly beige walls and wooden floors. The house is fenced with a high wall and has a small garden. There are a few closed empty rooms, an entrance, a living room, a kitchen and Sutemi's room on the first floor. On the second floor there is Sutemi's sister room and more closed rooms. Sutemi's mother is in the kitchen, cooking something, Sutemi's father is trying to repair their TV, and Sutemi's sister is in her room, talking on the phone. First floor The first floor has an entrance, living room, kitchen, Sutemi's room, and a few other additional rooms that are inaccessible. Stalker's father Sutemi's father is busy repairing the TV in the living room; Ayano can sneak past him if she crouches behind the couch. Additionally, she can break the fuse box outside to force him to leave the house and investigate the problem. ...I swear...Saikou Corp intentionally designs these things to break right after the warranty period ends... ...it's all a consipiracy to sell more TVs...they're probably making millions by doing this... ...well, I won't stand for it...you won't be getting any more money out of me, Saikou Corp... ...I'm not gonna fall for your greedy schemes...I'm gonna fix this thing if it kills me... ...ah, that wasn't the right tool... ...okay, this time, this time I've got the right tool... ...no, that wasn't the right one, either... ...okay, I'd stake my life on it...this one is the right tool... ...wrong again...I'm glad I didn't "actually" stake my life on it... ...you know, it really would be smarter to just move the toolbox closer to the TV... — Sutemi's father in the living room Stalker's house kitchen Sutemi's mother is busy cooking something in the kitchen. Ayano can sneak past her when she's looking away. Hmm...now, where did I put that cake mix... Hmm, I think I'll add some extra frosting... Ahh, I hope we're not out of vegetable oil... Four eggs...okay... Oh, I can't forget the chocolate chips! Hmm, I wonder if I should use butter or margarine... Ooh...we're almost out of sugar... I'll have to remember to pick up more flour... Ahh, I hope this doesn't add too much to my figure... I really wish he would just...come out of his room and join us... — Sutemi's mother in the kitchen. On the way back, the room to the kitchen is closed and an argument between the parents can be heard. Mom: He turned out this way because of you, you know! This is all your fault! Dad: My fault? How is it my fault? How can I have any influence on him, when I'm at work all day long? Mom: That's the problem! You were never home to help me raise him! Dad: I was never home because I was busy earning the money to pay for this comfortable house you live in! YOU'RE the one who was left in charge of raising the children! Mom: That's a job for two people, not one! He turned out this way because he never had a positive male role model in his life! Dad: Oh, what was I supposed to do, quit my job and stay home all day being a 'role model'? Then where would we get the money to put food on our table, huh? This is why we have so many problems - you never think before you speak! Mom: There you go again - you always say that everything is my fault! Nothing's ever your fault, is it? You never take responsibility for your mistakes! Dad: WHAT mistakes? I haven't done anything wrong! You're the one who is constantly screwing up! Name ONE mistake I've made! Mom: Haven't you been listening? I've been trying to tell you this entire time! You let our son turn out the way he did! — Sutemi's parents fighting in the kitchen. Stalker's room Sutemi's room is also on this floor. Ayano can either sneak behind and take the cat without making a sound or struggle with him and knock him out. Ohhhhh, Miyuki...my love...my goddess... I knew you were real...I knew you existed somewhere in the real world...I knew we'd finally be together one day... That girl is the conduit...the way you will enter this world... If she dyes her hair and wears the right clothing...I'll be able to hold you at last! It's really going to happen...you will be mine...you will belong to me...I will possess you... I will own all of you...from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet...with nothing left out in-between...I will cherish you and treasure you and worship you every day, forever and ever and ever... I'll cover your entire body with kisses... Oh, my Miyuki...my sweet, sweet Miyuki... My waifu... — Sutemi in his room. Second floor OkadaSistersRoom The second floor a hallway, four locked rooms and Sutemi's sister room. Sutemi's sister is talking on the phone with her friend. Ayano can sneak past her when she's looking away. Ha! You think YOUR brother's bad? You have NO idea. Let me tell you about the creep I have to live with. He's a complete...what's that word?..."Hikkikomori". No friends...dropped out of school...never leaves the house...stays in his room all day long. It's been this way for over the year now. And he's, like, OBSESSED with anime and video games. He screams - I mean, like, SCREAMS - if anyone tries to enter his room. I don't think anyone but him has been in there for over a year. He only comes out to use the bathroom or get food. He doesn't even like being SEEN by other people, so he makes our mom just leaves his meal on a tray outside his door. I have absolutely NO idea why my parents even tolerate him! Like, why do they keep enabling his lifestyle? Why don't they threaten to kick him out unless he gets a job? Maybe, when you're a parent, you don't want to give up on your children, no matter how screwed up they are. I'd NEVER let my kids turn out like him, though. Most of the time, I just try to pretend he doesn't exist. It's not hard, since he never wants to interact with anyone. I don't think he has a healthy view towards women.... His room is right underneath mine, and sometimes, I hear him watching hentai and playing porn games. I'm afraid that one day he's going to creep into my room and...ugh! Let's just say that I ALWAYS keep my door locked when I sleep. Well, there is one bit of good news.... Over the past month, he's actually left the house a few times... ...but I have a feeling he's only going outside to do something gross. Like, don't ask me how, but I can just TELL that he's up to no good. Oh! Sorry, I kinda went off on a rant there. Please, tell me what you were about to say. I'll just stay quiet and listen. Promise!"Dark Delights" Bakery is a befriend/betray location that appears during the Second Week.Gameplay To unlock this location, the player must first either eavesdrop on Amai's phone call and befriend Saki to get Amai's Sai-Blur account username, or purchase the "Provide Rival's Dark Secret" service option for 20 Info points. Then the player has to befriend Amai, slip a note into her locker and offer her help. Amai will reveal to Ayano with her suspicions about the new bakery in town. After school, the player can go to the bakery location and grab the incriminating evidence. Unlike Osana's, the player is not trespassing on the street when beginning the task. Only when the player enters the building will they then have a "You are now trespassing" HUD. There are currently 4 methods to enter the bakery. If the player fails to pickpocket the security guard, gets spotted by the two bakery owners or the man inside the construction area, they will get a "Caught" game over. Entering the Bakery DarkDelightsInterior1 There are currently 4 methods to get inside the bakery. Stealing a key from the security guard to get in from the front door. Stealing a key from the security guard to get in the construction site. The player has to walk up to the top of the construction site and use a large plank to jump from the construction site to one of the balconies of the bakery, while making sure that the plank doesn't fall using a large box. Stacking boxes up the dumpster to climb on one of the balconies. Stealing a key from the security guard to go inside a building. The player can jump from the balcony of this building to one of the balconies in the bakery. Exterior Outdoor dining area. Outdoor dining area. The bakery has a semi-gothic style, using violet and black as the main colors and spooky-themed decoration. At the front of the bakery, the logo, menu and flower bushes can be seen, all in either black, purple or white. Near the main entrance, there's an outdoor dining area; behind the building there're a few dumpsters which can be set up as an entrance point. The front entrance is being watched by a security guard. He also has the keys that can be stolen. ...okay...so...let me get this straight... ...every one of these doors uses a different key... ...and the key they gave me only works for the front door... ...what...exactly...is the point of that...? Like...seriously... ...these people just seem so...so...I don't know...paranoid... ...I mean, what kind of bakery hires a security guard, anyway... ...if they think they need protection, it means one of two things... ...either they have a lot of enemies...and I mean a LOT of enemies... ...or...they have a lot of secrets that they're trying to keep hidden... ...hmm...well, I guess both of those theories could be true simultaneously... — Dialogue of the guard near the front door. Construction site Construction site view. Construction site view. A huge part of the area is dedicated to a construction site. It has five floors, all of which are filled with various building materials and appliances. Some of these supplies include dull green barrels, porta-potties, sandbags, large wooden crates, red steel blocks and orange caution stands. The completed walls of the construction site are dark wood beige with sand yellow beams, the ceilings and floors are squared concrete. From the third floor and above, walls have not been built on yet. The construction site is being monitored by a security guard as well; Ayano has to steal keys from him to sneak into the building. ...I wonder if all this construction work is a false front for something bigger... ...maybe some evil organization is building their secret headquaters under our very feet... ...perhaps this is where a mad scientist is building an army of super-soldier clones... ...ahhhhh...who am I kidding...none of that stuff has any chance of being true... ...I'm just trying to trick myself into thinking this boring job is more interesting than it actually is... — The Construction Site Guard talking to himself. Construction site manager. Construction site manager. On the first floor of the building, there's a construction site manager as well. Ayano has to sneak past him as well, as failing to do so will result in Game Over. I don't care if it's past midnight! This call is much more important than your damn beauty sleep! I decided to visit the construction site to make sure that your men are doing right... ... and I've already found more than a dozen major problems - on the ground floor, no less! This is absolutely unacceptable! You need to tell your men to get their act together! And what's with the way the excavator was parked? Why put the claw between the fences like that? Was one of your men just goofing around, playing with the excavator like it was a gad damn TOY?! You know, there was a point in time when I could depend on you! When did you get so sloppy?! Is this the so-called "competency crisis" that I've heard so much about in the news lately? Has it really become impossible to find skilled workers who actually know what they're doing? Oh, you have a rebuttal, do you? Very well then! Be my guest - try and talk your way out of this one! — Construction Site Manager talking on his phone Office building Exterior of the office building. Exterior of the office building. Nearby the construction site, there's a modern office building. Only two floors are accessible, though; the staircase to the third floor is blocked by some junk. The exterior includes transparent glass, one red, non interactable Vending Machine and two empty billboards with the text suggesting it's up for rent to advertise. The interior has checkered floors, gray walls and rectangle glass windows. There are blue waiting seats, bookshelves, another vending machine, a water cooler, two differently colored trash cans, and a fire extinguisher and a cluttered receptionist desk with a black square sofa behind it. These can be found throughout the floors of the building. There are also some yellow caution stands that are stacked against more clutter. The office building is being guarded by two guards; first one patrols the outdoors, and the second one is at the second floor. Ayano has to sneak past the second guard to the nearby hallway, where she can jump from one balcony to the other. ...geez...I've never seen so many streets shut down for roadwork all at once... ...and on top of that, there's all this construction work going on... ... I can't even imagine how noisy it gets around here during the daytime... ...and the people who live in this area have to listen to it all day long... ...yeesh...I'm glad I'm working the night shift and not the day shift... — Office Building Guard #1's dialogue ...stupid old crone and her passive-aggressive little notes... ...it's just a door...it's not like it's the end of the world... ...well, if she's gonna be so rude about it, I know just what to do... ...from now on, I'm gonna leave that door wide open every single night... ...heh heh heh heh heh...can't wait to see her reaction...I bet she'll have a meltdown... — Office Building Guard #2's dialogue Interior First floor Dark Delights Interior (2) The first floor features the main area, a kitchen and freezer room. There are no tables inside; only shelves filled with products of the bakery. The main shop area includes black and purple checkered floors with dull plum textured walls, a brown wall panel and dark gray ceilings. There are many shelves with the bakery products showcased, glass displays for food, and a sign near the door when a customer comes in. There are many little details around the counter walls and cabinet doors. There are two cash registers on the counter where the first owner is pacing around. The kitchen area includes a unique looking oven in gold, black and purple detailing, a counter with a coffee machine, a sink, multiple drawers and a few bottle like vases. The freezer is grayish white with gray bordering, and inside has some sliding doors with nothing inside of them. Between the cafe and kitchen area rests the main area, in which the flooring is a dull bright blue. The room includes a lot of unopened neatly scattered Nozama boxes, black vases with white detailing found on dark gray shelves, small desks with drawers, and one of the three whiteboards showing incriminating actions from the second bakery owner. The first owner, Minato Ando, walks back and forth behind the counter, thinking out loud about his wife. If he notices Ayano, he'll ask her to leave, taking her for a late customer. ...(sigh)...how do I tell her...how do I tell her... ...her dark and dangerous side is what made me fall for her... ...but...recently, she's...gone too far... ...there were...lines...that we swore we'd never cross... ...the things we've been doing lately have been... ...they’ve been way past the boundaries that we agreed upon... ...I...played along until this point because it felt harmless, but... ...if this keeps up...she's seriously going to get us in trouble... ...ugh...I know exactly how she's going to react if I try to discuss this with her... ...she's immediately going to think I don't love her anymore...or something... ...she's gonna have a giant meltdown...it's gonna turn into a huge fight... ...and then our marriage will be at risk...and that's the last thing I want... ...I have to be really careful with how I word this... ...at the very least, I NEED to get her to throw away those receipts... ...she doesn't realize that those things can be used as evidence against us... — Minato Ando talking to himself about the Rei Ando. Second floor Living room. Living room. The second floor seems to be the living space; it has a small guest room, a kitchen, an office and a few locked rooms. Before entering the living space, the player is greeted with a small area, in which bookshelves and a glass cabinet with vases rest against two separate walls. There is a small table and two comfortable chairs aligned near the thick glass railings. A coat rack and a rectangle picture frame can also be found in this small room. The living space has plank floors with beige walls. There are sofas neatly aligned with the coffee table, and the wall TV. Multiple purple rose hedges can be found around the living room. There are two carpets, one placed under the coffee table, and another near the entrance. Bookshelves and picture frames can be found around the living room. Divided by the living room includes a small kitchen area with a 4 seater dinner table with plates and a flower in a vase, basic kitchen amenities, and a rectangle glass window. The office in this floor includes a small patterned beige carpet, one out of the three incriminating whiteboards with three white office chairs, a small bookshelf, stationary items spread around the desk, and a huge picture frame depicting a mediating woman in black and purple. The second owner, Rei Ando, is in the living room, thinking out loud whether or not to throw away the receipts. If she notices Ayano, she'll get scared and call her husband. ...that moron...he just doesn't get it... ...we can't just throw away all of our receipts... ...every business expense is a tax write-off, after all... ...and if we ever get audited, those receipts will save our asses... ...but...how can I explain that purchasing two dozen rats was a part of operating our business... ...hmmm...maybe I'll say that the rats were test subjects for experimental new recipes... ...no...that won't work...you can't do animal research without getting approval from the government... ...then...maybe I could say that our secret ingredient is...rats...?... ...no way...nobody ever would buy food from us again if that kind of rumor was floating around... ...argh...this is harder than I thought...maybe he's right about the damn receipts... — Rei Ando talking to herself about Minato Ando. Third floor Dark Delights Interior (12) The third floor of the building has a few more additional rooms and an office. The stairs lead to an indoor balcony area where there are a couple of purple rose hedges that cover two sides, with the center being a small table with two chairs, and a vase with 3 flowers. There are two doors, one that leads to an archive, and another to the rooftop of the building. The office includes two desk areas divided by a bamboo divider and blue textured carpets. Both desks are messy, with stacks of paperwork scattered on many areas of the desk, a computer with two monitors, books, a printer a clock and one picture frame. The archive is behind it, in which the incriminating evidence is located. This archive shows many gray archive drawers with a few opened Nozama boxes placed ontop of them. The player has to find a way here and then sneak out unnoticed to successfully complete the mission.Karlheinz Asylum is a befriend/betray location featured in 1980s Mode.Gameplay Ryoba can go to this place from her house after reading her rival's diary and offering her help. After sneaking into the asylum, Ryoba will have to burn down from one to ten bags with photos, scattered around different rooms, and then return home and inform her rival about it. Drug addicts are walking around the hallways; the game will be over if they notice Ryoba. In one of the rooms on the second floor there's the Evil Photographer, Eisaku Nonoshita himself, but he never actually leaves the room. The difficulty of the mission depends on what week it currently is. Building The Asylum is an abandoned mental asylum outside of Buraza Town. By 1989, homeless people and drug addicts began squatting in the building. Also, a photographer started circulating rumors that the asylum is haunted by ghosts and that it is a good location to test one's courage, to lure girls to the asylum so that he can force them to strip their clothing and take photos of them at knifepoint. To eliminate a rival via befriending or betrayal, Ryoba Aishi must sneak through the asylum and burn the photographer's bags containing pictures of naked girls. First floor The first floor has a great hall, dining room, dayroom, and seven other rooms that are locked. Ryoba enters the building via a window in the dining room. 3 drug addicts are roaming around. There is one bag in the dayroom. Great Hall The hall. The hall. Classroom The classroom. The classroom. The room appears extremely disorganized, with desks and chairs not properly aligned, or toppled over on its sides. The room includes a three-sided screen and a damaged pull-down chart with the human anatomy displayed. The desks have a wooden cover, and the legs and remainder of the desk are dark blue. An exposed heater is also found in this room. The walls have a plank trim with orange lines and there are two windows with opened curtains. There's also a duffel bag in here. Trivia The asylum's name can be found on the base of a statue in the lobby. As of the August 1st, 2023 update, the homeless people and drug addicts now have 34 different lines of dialogue, and their dialogue is chosen randomly, instead of always playing in the same order. One of their quotes is a reference of Big Smoke order scene from Grand theft auto: San Andreas. Girls who have been lured into the asylum and victimized are referred to as "angels" by drug addicts and homeless people, as seen in some of their lines.[1]
