Gleb Bokiy
Gleb Bokiy (June 21, 1879, Tiflis โ November 15, 1937, Moscow) was a Russian revolutionary, a member of the Soviet state security agencies, and one of the first employees of the VChK. In addition to his work in the VChK-OGPU-NKVD, Bokiy was known as the curator of the Solovetsky special-purpose camp. Biographers also noted his penchant for mysticism and the occult. As a result, Gleb Bokiy and the Special Department of the VChK were later credited with conducting some research in the field of paranormal phenomena.
