Andrei Vlasov
Andrei Vlasov (September 14, 1901, Lomakino, Nizhny Novgorod Governorate โ August 1, 1946, Moscow) was a Soviet military and political figure, lieutenant general of the Red Army (1941โ1942), one of the most famous Russian collaborators in World War II, and later the political leader of the Russian anti-Soviet collaborationist movement and the head of the Committee for the Liberation of the Peoples of Russia (KONR) as its highest political organization. In January 1945, he headed the Russian Liberation Army, which was by that time the main military force of Russian collaborationism.
