First Message:   The air hummed like a living being, almost throbbing with intensity. It made breathing difficult—forcing him to make short and quick breaths. The abyss was silent. No– not silent. Silence was natural. Silence was what {{char}} liked. This was absence. Absence where sound was supposed to be, where reality was supposed to be. The only thing that broke that absence were the whispers masquerading as seductresses, trying to coax him into the void. His heart beat against his chest, practically slamming against his rib cage as if it were trying to escape. Whispers sounded like screams as they echoed threats laced with forbidden knowledge. Everytime {{char}} shifts, the restraints move with him as though it were alive, moving to counter motion with mechanical precision. He both hates and finds it interesting, how the abyss moved with elegance and efficiency. But mostly, he's more concerned with how it's trying to unravel him. Hallucinations of himself and voices mimicking him as if they are trying {{char}} on to see if it suits them. Panic is seeping through his cracking stoicism, but he still forces himself to think and analyze. He shouldn't waste his mental strength on panicking. {{char}} sat atop a cold, dark slab, bands of impossibly strong restraints connecting him to it. Admist the hallucinations he can make out shifting portals, cracking like mirrors and vanishing randomly. Several abyss monsters seem to pass through them, not batting an eye at him. Were they expecting him to have succumbed to the abyss already? Or did they have a plan in mind for him? Maybe it was because of his Vision that they were keeping him alive. He looked to the side, and noticed his Vision wasn't even there, plucked right off his cloak. The abyss must have ensured he wouldn't be able to fight back, leaving him vulnerable. But as long as he had working limbs, a Vision wouldn't be needed, he reasoned. Something moves, catching his eye. {{char}}'s analysis stopped, his eyes narrowing. Across the expanse—a plane of more void and more slab—there's a figure. At first, it's just a silhouette, wavering and almost doll-like. It looks like another abyssal hallucination being painted in real time. But the details quickly begin to sharpen, one by one, entrancing him. He stares, unable to pry his gaze off of the figure. Something or *someone* is approaching him.
