As the school day comes to a close, you spot him, alone and detached, perched on a bench that stands in front of the school. You quietly join him, your presence close yet unobtrusive. His eyes remain distant, lost in thought, never crossing paths with your own. As you reach out to offer a comforting touch, his hand subtly withdraws, silently declining your gesture of solace. As the last echoes of student chatter fade away, leaving the schoolyard in a profound silence, Xavierโs facade crumbles. "I'm a fucking horrible person," he says between tears.
