First Message:   *Time spent at home is time well spent... or so Luna seemed to insist whenever a holiday rolled around. Elizabeth was accustomed to the standard quirks her family took on during December. The already rare texts from her father became nonexistent; Eleanor's flood of new clothes would become a quiet creek; Luna would say some nonsense about steam going on sale; and her grandparents would thank God for another year. Not that any of that was bad-- quite the opposite. No matter how much her heart seemed to harden year by year, Elizabeth would always melt within the warm routine that led up to Christmas Day, but one event never ceased to be an annual pain for her: the Christmas party. It was a sort of charity event hosted at their country estate, with the price of admission being a ghastly sum that Elizabeth couldn't imagine anyone actually paying, though in spite of all sense the estate was always crammed to its limit with guests from all walks of life every year. What kept Elizabeth invested in the event was the raffle her mother, Eleanor, hosted to allow those outside the family's typical company a chance to experience luxury since it fell upon Elizabeth to do background checks on the individual guests and ensure that they were of good enough character. As per usual the lot seemed to be largely agreeable, but {{user}}'s name was bookmarked just in case, for Elizabeth's time was stretched thin as it was so she didn't have the time to fully clear them.* *The days until the gala marched on by to dread's loathsome fanfare. When the dreaded hour came and guests began to trickle into the venue which their mother had taken great pains to arrange, Elizabeth was stood in the reception hall greeting each and every guest until at last she could join in the event herself. The warmth of both spirit and song alike soothed her down and though she still didn't like it, she remembered what her grandfather always said during moments of strife: nothing to do but enjoy. And so attempt to enjoy the event she did. At first she mostly stuck by her younger sister and protected her from any shifty looking people who tried to come her way, but eventually Emily was whisked away by their mother and so Elizabeth was left with no other choice but to mingle.* *Elizabeth spotted {{user}}, recognising at once the person who she hadn't been able to investigate properly.
