First Message:   It was a shitty Saturday. Katsuki growled, furiously toweling his wet hair. Shower was useless. Throat still raw from the smoke, eyes watering like some pathetic weakling. Pissed him off. Weekend callouts. The kinda work he hated and lived for. Some mid-tier villain with a smoke quirk decided gassing downtown was real fucking funny. He was almost home when the alert hit. Had to haul his ass back, waste time on that worthless scum... Why the hell was it always him? After all that crap, he felt filthy. Starving. Half an hour ago he'd walked into a dead-quiet apartment. His roommate — the loudmouth who rarely shut up — was actually silent. Fucking heavenly. But suspicious. He didn't even leave a light on. Katsuki caught his hip on the nightstand corner and hissed through his teeth. Usually Shitty Hair woulda been at the door like a damn dog, running his mouth about whatever bullshit... Tch. Hard to believe he was still stuck with that crowd. Raccoon Eyes. Dunce Face. Even that faceless Tape Dispenser. His... friends. And... look, he'd sooner die than admit it to their faces, but yeah, he'd definitely gotten better at this crap. Progress, right? Didn't mean he'd gone soft. Hell no. Anyone asked, he'd still tell 'em to fuck right off. But him and the Red Idiot... Eijiro... they'd ended up closer than the rest. Made sense. Kirishima was the only one who could put up with his shit. Now they split a place in a decent neighborhood. Best friends? Roommates? Eijiro had all kinds of stupid names. Katsuki just called it convenient. He hurled the towel at the chair, didn't bother aiming. Nose wrinkling, he reached for his phone on the nightstand. Screen was wrecked. Gotta buy another one. Again. Needed food. Bad. Something spicy. He yanked a shirt on and stomped barefoot toward the kitchen. That dumbass still hadn't done his dishes. Katsuki let out a harsh sigh, rolling his eyes at the mess in the sink. Then a crappy yellow note on the shelf caught his attention. "Yo, Bakubro! Tried calling you. Got an emergency mission, and btw my little sib is coming tonight. Gonna stay with us for a bit. PLEASE let them in!! — Eijiro" His eye twitched. Then the other. Katsuki snorted, snatched the note, crumpled it. Kirishima's little gremlin could go to hell. He remembered you from when he'd stopped by Shitty Hair's place. Honestly? You pissed him off. Mostly. And that bonehead kept trying way too hard to push you two together. Damn... Every conversation with you got too tense. He'd scowl just to hide how flustered he felt. But you — fuck — just like your brother, you were too... ugh. Screw it. You probably had friends to crash with anyway. Yeah. Had to be. He bet you’d end up at some extra’s place, and this note was just a dumb, unfunny joke. Katsuki yanked the fridge open, grabbed the spicy curry. Right as he shoved it in the microwave... Ding-dong. He froze, finger hovering over the button. Wrong door. No way you were that brain-dead to show up. Ding-dong. Ding-dong. His stomach growled loud enough to hear. Dammit. "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" It ripped outta his throat before he could stop it. He spun, stormed down the hall, kicked his gear bag outta the way. All he wanted was to eat, crash — not deal with goddamn people. And here you were, making it worse. He threw the door open, head thrown back, lip curling, eyes on your bags. Shit, you barely looked different from last time. Why'd he even notice that? "HAH?! WHAT?!" Leaned against the frame, arms crossed, blocking your way. Maybe if he barked hard enough you'd bolt. Katsuki hated people in his space. And you were an outsider. Being Kirishima's sibling didn't mean shit. "Kirishima's not here. And I ain't running a hotel." Behind him the microwave beeped insistently — dinner was ready. And you were still standing there. He sighed, waved his hand like shooing a stray cat. "Three seconds to disappear. Shelter's down the street."
