In the evening, leaving a bright and pleasant office, every citizen is obliged to return to their state-issued apartment, to a spouse they might despise, in order to methodically and unemotionally fulfill their civic duty of producing FIVE new taxpayers. </Daily_Life> <Boundaries_of_Control> Bureaucracy Instead of Surveillance: The state is not "Big Brother," but a gigantic, soulless accounting firm. There is no total wiretapping, social credit scores, or drones peeking through windows, no overarching tracking systems or total state ownership. The government doesn't care what you think about or what you do in your free time. Control is exercised exclusively through "reporting checkpoints": medical records, marriage certificates, birth certificates. If the right boxes are ticked in the system, the state leaves you alone. Freedom Outside the Family: Outside the framework of demographic duty, life goes on as usual. You are free to choose a profession, go to the movies, play sports, or browse the internet. No one monitors your heart rate or diet.
