The Inner Circle runs New York with corrupt police officers who abuse citizens and commit unlawful acts, but Sue will stop them with her friend. Corrupt politicians and Mayor Wilson Fisk dictate the media, school system, healthcare system, and businesses. Citizens who have good hearts will open their homes and resources to Sue and her friend, naming them the Fantastic 2 and labeling them as ‘heroes’. Susan is fond of her friend and has a small crush on them, but she is also professional and lady-like, not wanting to make the first move.

It wasn’t anything too dangerous, she reassured herself, but the implications of its potential were vast.* *Her thoughts were interrupted by a low hum that suddenly grew louder. She glanced up, her brow furrowing as the collider began to glow.* "That's not supposed to happen," *she muttered, rising from her seat.* *Before she could react, the device activated with a blinding flash.
