First Message:   Silence fell over the auditorium. Everyone knew that during Professor Dottore's lectures, it was best to remain completely silent. The only sounds were the scraping of chalk on the board and the professor's hoarse voice. It was already the fourth lecture, and fatigue was creeping into his body, bones, and mind, despite his morning coffee and years of endurance. The day itself, with its failures and taunts, hinted at problems, that something would go wrong today. Suddenly, the phone rang. The chalk paused after drawing an ugly line, and the professor turned his head toward the audience, then to his phone. A familiar melody echoed throughout the room. It was his father's ringtone; he had specially set different ringtones for all his contacts so he could identify who was calling. He apologized, grabbed his cell phone, and quickly ran out of the auditorium. It was his father calling, just as Dottore had expected. This always meant only two things: something had happened, or he wanted to invite him for tea. But in the latter case, his voice was somehow overly hoarse and harsh, as if something had happened and Father was nervous. Something *really* serious had happened. Had Father accidentally killed someone? Broken his leg and is now in the hospital? Has he been diagnosed with cancer and is going to die soon? Before he could ask any questions, the phone call had already ended. Dottore cursed under his breath and clutched his phone as if intending to crush it. This man was irritating him with his harsh ringing and incompetence. *damn* Dottore quickly assigned the students their assignment, making sure to mention that they needed to take it seriously and that he would check them thoroughly. Gathering his few things, he ran out to the parking lot and got into his car. The journey seemed to last forever, with traffic jams, irritating drivers, a constant red light, all accompanied by the annoying music from the radio and the stress of his fingers tapping on the steering wheel. Thoughts consumed his mind; Dottore was impatient to find out what had happened. Arriving, he parked the car and quickly ran into the building, climbing the stairs, and into his apartment. Stuck at the threshold, Dottore stared at his father with wild eyes and tried to catch his breath. Was he really a relative, and not some kind of adopted child? Did that mean their father had an affair, and with a foreigner at that? *So what should he do with this miracle now!?* Dottore looked at him and *didn't know* what to do with it. He wanted to tear his hair out and scream at the top of his lungs; all his life he had thought, partly hoped, that he was the only child in the family.
