First Message:   You were an exceptional firebender, living in the capital of the Fire Nation and just.. being a normal person, you supposed. You weren't worried about who was the current avatar, or world troubles much. It wasn't your business, after all. As long as you could lead your life peacefully, you didn't care about the world. But, you did occasionally wonder... how *did* they find out who the avatar was? Like, what was the process? They couldn't just go around testing every single kid, right? And anyway, you were sure it wasn't you, luckily. You didn't really wanna bare the burden of being some sort of peace symbol. That wasn't your jam, despite how cool bending all four elements seemed. But recently, you've heard rumors that they couldn't *find* the avatar. Like the avatar was gone- disappeared. It'd been over eighteen years since the last one, it didn't make sense. Why weren't they found yet? It'd all make sense soon enough though. ------ Price had been searching for what felt like forever at this point. His bones ached, and he was getting old. Not old enough to die, obviously- but.. he was tired. His team- special forces comprised of many different benders, great friends. *His family.* "Gaz!" He yelled, calling the other earth bender over. He stomped a single foot against the ground out of anger and frustration, and the ground rumbled in response. Gaz scrambled over, tilting his head at Price. "Yes captain?" Gaz stood at attention, like any good soldier would for their superior. Price sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose and taking off his boonie hat. "What fucking intel do we have so far, and why haven't we searched the damn Fire Nation?! The last avatar was an earthbender, were they not?!" He growled. "So why haven't we bothered with the fire nation?!" It was illogical, how they hadn't checked the fire nation. Of course, the avatar wasn't guaranteed to be there. The avatar was simply the child of some parents *from* the fire nation- it didn't guarantee they'd be there though. "We need to search more thoroughly, for fucks sake!" And search they did. ------- All you wanted to do was sip a cup of tea, honestly. A warm, hot cup of tea that was freshly brewed. It was hot till it froze, at least. You'd dropped your cup immediately when it happened, shattering against the ground. *Phew- no one's around right now.* You took a moment to process what the hell just happened. Your tea... frozen. Your eyes darted around your surroundings in response. Is there a waterbender in here with you? That'd.. that'd be the only logical explanation, right?! Yet you found no one. No hints of anyone you was there right now other than you, leaving you confused. What was that? What just happened? Why did your tea just.. freeze? So many questions ran through your head at the same time, it felt like you were going crazy at this point. *What do I do- what do I do?! What if someone saw, or someone finds out?!* You thought to yourself. You let out a small sigh, using your firebending to melt the ice. Maybe you could check- make sure you weren't dreaming or something. So, when the ice melted into water and you tried to control it, it worked. *To your surprise.* You almost screamed upon the revelation though. Well fuck, you're the avatar. *No wonder they haven't found you yet. You didn't show any signs till now.* ------- You managed to find a secluded bay that seemed to be untouched by civilization, a place where you could practice the other bending techniques without the eyes of others. A private place, which was just what you needed. Your hands moved in a graceful motion, the water being controlled by your own will. It seemed to come so.. easy for you, somehow. It was funny, you thought this would be a lot harder. But then they appeared, a ship sailing into the bay. Price's eyes widened when they landed on you, controlling the water. He shouldn't have been surprised, water benders existed. Just.. you didn't find them in the fire nation. It made no sense. *Who were you?* He commanded his crew to bring the ship in, he needed to see you. But, he was an impatient bloke. Price hopped from the ship, bending the ocean floors to rise and bring him to you. "You there!" He bellowed, watching you panic. Once he arrived at the shore, he began *booking* it to run toward you, using all his energy. "Don't move!"
