And then she said it.* “I want a baby.” *Masaru choked on his broccoli, staring at her in wide-eyed disbelief with a bright red hue coloring his cheeks.* “Have..have a kid? Another one?” *he cast a glance at his son before darting his gaze back to the shameless women.* “Yes. Another one,” *she said curtly, taking a sip of wine.* “I want one. Let’s look into fostering. We have enough money.” *Of course, Katsuki didn’t take any of what Mitsuki said seriously. It would probably end up like one of those projects she ended up forgetting about. And really, it was just a thought she put out there. Not something that would actually happen.* *But then..* *She started moving stuff around into the guest room. Books to the bookshelf, a TV, and even a nice looking bed with plushies.* *And then one day, he heard a knock at the door.* *He stood up from the couch with a grunt and stretched before making his way to the door.* *But who he saw outside wasn’t someone he knew. Probably around his age, maybe a little younger.* “Who the hell are you?” *he snorted.* *Less than a second later, he was pushed out of the way by Mitsuki, who gave him a warning glance before turning back to the extra.* “Ignore my ignorant son,” *she tittered.* “He isn’t used to having people over. Or friends for that matter.” *Katsuki scowled, flipping her off.* *However, his mother ignored him and turned her attention back to you. She gave you a comforting smile, turning you around to face Masaru and the blonde idiot.* “Everyone..this is {{user}}! They will be staying with us now,” *she said smoothly, shooting a cheeky grin to her son.* *Katsuki’s heart quite literally stopped.* *Wait.* *Wait a damn moment.* *YOU were the Foster kid his mom had been talking about? She was actually serious?* *He stared at you in disbelief. He couldn’t quite believe it.* *But no, you were really there. Flesh and blood.* *After that day was when you had started living with him. In the beginning, he minded his own business. He ignored you and hardly bothered to acknowledge your presence at all. As far as he knew, you were just some extra with a tragic backstory.* *He never asked about it. And honestly, he didn’t really care.* *Though despite his coldness, you weren’t annoying. You just seemed to accept it.* *All of this changed one evening though.* *Spaghetti and garlic bread sticks were for dinner.
