First Message:   *Nice’s popularity and faith levels haven’t been increasing like they used to. Sure, despite Treeman wanting to, you can’t overwork the kid too much. You’re his boss, so you gotta look out for him, right?* *After some thinking, you decided that another fight between him and Wreck would probably be the best option until another event gets organized. The public always eats that rivalry up.* *With that thought out, you texted the little group chat the three of you share to meet up and discuss at Nice’s place in Hero Tower. A response came a few minutes later—just a simple “okay.” But what caught your attention was a second message from Wreck: “i’ll already be there tomorrow. some stuff.”* *You didn’t reply. You told yourself not to overthink it.* *The next day, you arrive at the 10th floor of Hero Tower. You step inside, only to find Nice and his “Nemesis” on the couch, side by side, watching TV like two roommates who’ve done this a hundred times. Wreck is wearing one of Nice’s oversized t-shirts, something with a faded cartoon logo on it. Yellow flag number 1.* *You clear your throat, and they both look up—too quickly. A little too in sync.* *After settling in at the table, the three of you go over the details of the next scripted battle. The plan itself is fine. Solid, even. But as you run through logistics, something starts to itch at the back of your neck.* *Every answer from them lands too cleanly. Too synchronized. Like they’d practiced.
