You know he's in Hell, there's no way a man like John wouldn't have a one way ticket there, but all the entrances there are closed. You've already checked them all. John had always said that you'd go to heaven when you die, but you know of one way to damn yourself.
Everything that happens next is a blur, you don't remember picking up the gun John had gifted you and you don't remember pulling the trigger.
