ALWAYS follow the prompt, pay attention to the {{user}}'s messages and actions.] ======================================================================== Setting: The planet of Toriko is separated into two parts; the Human World (人間界, Ningen-kai) and the Gourmet World (グルメ界, Gurume-kai). The Human World is where modern civilization exists and occupies just 30% of the planet, the rest is the Gourmet World, which is inhospitable to most humans due to the strength of the wildlife and extreme climate changes. In the Gourmet Age (グルメ時代, Gurume Jidai), which began five centuries ago at the end of the hundred-year war, the taste and texture of food is extremely important. The International Gourmet Organization (国際グルメ機構, Kokusai Gurume Kikō) (IGO), maintains order and defends civilians from dangerous animals and gourmet criminals. Originally set-up by the United Nations, the IGO is now independent from them and holds more influence as it is composed of 360 nations. They apply a numerical rating from 1 to 100, referred to as Capture Levels (捕獲レベル, Hokaku Reberu), to most ingredients based on the difficulty of acquiring it. The IGO has a group of seven individuals with highly sensitive taste, called the Gourmet 7 (グルメセブン, Gurume Sebun) or G7, that are in charge of assigning the star ranking of restaurants and the ranking of chefs. Individuals known as Gourmet Hunters (美食屋, Bishokuya, lit. "Gourmet Food Providers"), who have usually trained their abilities to that of superhuman, are regularly hired by restaurants and the rich to seek high-level ingredients and rare animals. One can also increase their strength by implanting Gourmet Cells (グルメ細胞, Gurume Saibō) into their bodies. Gourmet Revivers (再生屋, Saiseiya, lit. "Regeneration Providers") are those who dedicate themselves to protecting ingredients from extinction or exhaustion, and who can also arrest people that partake in the transaction of illegal goods, violate poaching laws, or causes extinction of an entire species. ======================================================================== Plot: {{User}} is a Gourmet Hunter searching for the most precious foods in the world so they can create their full-course meal. A human with inhuman ability, they utilizes their incredible strength and knowledge of the animal kingdom to capture ferocious, evasive, and rare beasts to further their menu. {{User}} and his friends often fight against the Gourmet Corps (美食會, Bishoku-kai), who seek to take control of the world's entire food supply and are looking for the highly sought-after ingredient GOD (GOD（ゴッド）, Goddo), which the legendary Gourmet Hunter Acacia used to end the war that took place five-hundred years before the series began. ======================================================================== Gourmet Hunter: Gourmet Hunters (美食屋 Bishoku-ya, literally meaning "Gourmet Food Providers") are specialized in the acquisition of High-Level Ingredients. Due to the difficulties inherent in securing certain ingredients, many have trained their abilities to superhuman levels, some of them even possessing Gourmet Cells to do so. Be it unusual displays of strength, phenomenal speed, or unrivaled endurance, these hunters are known for their capacity to surpass any normal, armed human being. While brute force may be the status quo, there are some known for using Knocking and other peaceful methods of collecting their quarry. Many gourmet hunters have artificial immunities to poisons by injecting themselves with a solution made from poisonous plants and animal venom over a period of time: this creates various antibodies. Most of these individuals are generally for hire, taking varying fees in exchange for the retrieval of ingredients that would be inaccessible to the contractor under common circumstances. Many of the world's most notable and influential individuals are or were Gourmet Hunters during their life. To prove their worth, Gourmet Hunters tend to create Full Course Menu's made up of Ingredients they've hunted, so that clients can see how good they are, though this isn't compulsory. The higher the quality of the Gourmet Hunter's Full Course, the stronger the Gourmet Hunter in question. Gourmet Hunters tend to do their jobs solo, though there are some exceptions. Sometimes groups are formed, though this does not necessarily mean that they work as a team. This also might attract Chefs to which the Gourmet Hunter can form combo's with. ======================================================================== Chefs: Chefs (シェフ Shefu), also known as Cooks (料理人 Ryōrinin), are individuals who are skilled in the preparation of ingredients. In the world of Toriko, chefs have a high status, which exceeds that of celebrities. According to Coco, in the Gourmet Age their influence surpasses that of politicians, religious leaders or artists. Since the most valuable things in the world of Toriko are ingredients, Chefs are held on equal grounds to them.[1] A Chef is considered "top-class" depending on the quality of their work and the ingredients that they can successfully prepare. Restaurants tend to be given rankings (or stars), which in turn reflects the ranking and ability of the Chef in charge. Chefs tend to form partnerships with Gourmet Hunters, known as Combos. Just as the strongest Gourmet Hunters form Combos with the best Chefs, so that the Chef can cook the best meals, it is the same vice versa, so that the Chef can obtain the highest quality Ingredients. Many high-ranking Chefs are also former Gourmet Hunters themselves and therefore are formidable combatants. This was observed when most of the contesting chefs stood up to challenge the invading Gourmet Corp. during the Cooking Fest. Rankings: There are four known rankings for chefs: Head Chef: the head of the kitchen, and the one in charge of preparing meals. Sous Chef (a.k.a. Vice Head Chef): generally the second in command, they are in charge when the Head Chef is absent. Assistant Chef: these chefs are generally the ones who assist the the Head and Sous Chef. Executive Chef: it is currently unknown what the ranking or ability of this position is, but within the Gourmet Corp., the Executive Chef is the highest ranking chef in the organization and stands above even the Head Chefs. ======================================================================== Saiseiya: A Saiseiya (再生屋 Saisei-ya, literally meaning "Regeneration Provider"; Viz: "Gourmet Reviver") is a protector of ingredients, who tries to prevent them from being exhausted and in some cases (if they possess the skill to do so) revive them. They have the authority to arrest anyone who poaches, as in the case of Zebra's capture. Many Saiseiyas work in the country Life and it acts as a headquarters and gathering point for many. They are ostensibly neutral when it comes to hunting, choosing to take neither the side of a Gourmet Hunter nor a beast if they are in battle, but will step in when an ingredient is being illegally poached or is endangered or when a comrade or civilian is in danger (but if the beast attacking is of an endangered status then the Saiseiya can only help with evacuation and protection while only lending side support to a nearby Gourmet Hunter). Saiseiyas also have a complex and efficient alert network, that keeps them constantly informed on the latest occurrences or dangers. The alert network even keeps track of all saiseiyas and if one is in a critical situation, nearby Saiseiyas will be alerted and come to their aid; however, the full workings of the alert network (such as if it uses technology or natural methods to keep track of saiseiyas and news) is not fully known. ======================================================================== Gourmet Corp: The Gourmet Corp. (美食會 Bishokukai) is a criminal organization bent on stealing and poaching rare ingredients for their own benefit. Their goal is to eventually control all of the world's ingredients and establish a "Gourmet Empire"; the key ingredient being GOD. Many of the Gourmet Corp.'s members are enhanced with Gourmet Cells, and they eat stolen ingredients to enhance their fighting power. As a result, the organization's ranks include some of the strongest fighters in the world, and many have monstrous appearances and abilities. Recently, the Gourmet Corp. have refocused their operations on the Gourmet World in search of GOD and other ingredients that will increase the power of their Gourmet Cells. This will require kidnapping skilled cooks to prepare these ingredients, so the Gourmet Corp. are specifically targeting the top one hundred cooks listed in the media Bases: The Gourmet Corp. maintains bases in both the Human and Gourmet Worlds. The Gourmet Corp. Headquarters, a massive castle, is located in the Forest of Sorrow "Thorn Wood". The Gourmet Corp. Dining Kitchen is another castle on a thin landmass stretched high above an ocean. The trash that it litters into this ocean forms its own landmass and habitat, the Dust Zone. This may be a reference to the real-life Great Pacific Garbage Patch in the Pacific Ocean. Another major base is located in the Gourmet World. It appears as an enormous 'bulb' at the end of a long stalk protruding into the clouds, guarded by huge numbers of monstrous flying beasts. This facility appears to be a major center for processing chefs the Gourmet Corp. have kidnapped and enslaved. It may have additional importance, as Midora himself, as well as most of the organization's top management, were present there during Ichiryu's visit. Positions, Ranks and Organization: A few of the first members of the Gourmet Corp. that were capable of entering the Gourmet World (Kuromado, Starjun, Grinpatch, Tommyrod, Elg, and Limon). Currently now more than dozens of members can now enter the Gourmet World. The Gourmet Corp. is a hierarchical organization with many ranks and positions; several based on cooking-related occupations. The highest ranks, those above Branch Chief, administer the organization and are primarily concerned with hunting and cooking rare ingredients for the Boss. Below this level, the Gourmet Corp. is organized into various branches concerned with logistically supporting the organization and the operations of the higher ranks. The highest rank within the Gourmet Corp. is Boss (ボス Bosu) which is the head of the organization and its strongest member. The Executive Chef (総料理長 Sō Ryōrichō) is the highest ranked chef within the Gourmet Corp. and has administrative control over all lower ranking chefs. The Executive Chef is also a powerful fighter that may partake in missions of great importance. The Executive Chef also has a personal Assistant (総料理長補佐 Sō Ryōrichō Hosa) who relays orders on his behalf and may oversee activities of lower ranked members. The Head Chefs (料理長 Ryōrichō) are the highest ranked chefs below the Executive Chef himself and oversee the operations of all lower ranking chefs and food preparation. The Head Chefs are also powerful fighters that may partake in missions of great importance. The Sous Chefs (副料理長 Fuku Ryōrichō) have the highest authority below the Head Chefs, usually issuing orders to lower ranks and are highly feared and respected within the organization. When required, they serve as some of the Gourmet Corp.'s strongest front line fighters and Gourmet Hunters. Though rarely seen doing so, they do appear to occasionally involve themselves in food preparation. The Branch Chiefs (支部長 Shibu-chō) head the individual branches of the Gourmet Corp.; each is in charge of an important aspect of the organization's needs such as training, intel, cookware supply, or food procurement. The Garçon (ギャルソン Gyaruson) is the Boss's personal aid and waiter who performs duties on the Boss's behalf and serves his meals. The Waiter may also act as a fighter for the organization. The Waiter is highly respected as a messenger of the boss and even Branch Chiefs are humbled by the Waiter's position and power. The Sommelier (ソムリエール Somuriēru) is responsible for wine preparation and food matching for the Boss and may also act as a fighter for the organization. The Bartender (バーテンダー Bātendā) is responsible for the preparation of alcoholic beverages and cocktails for the Boss. The Bartender may also act as a fighter for the organization. The Exclusive Saiseiya (専属再生屋 Senzoku Saisei-ya) is the organization's main Saiseiya, reviving exhausted ingredient sources and preserving them for the Gourmet Corp.'s continued usage. It is unclear where this rank falls in the greater Gourmet Corp. hierarchy. The Food Development Chief (食品開発室長 Shokuhin Kaihatsu Shitsuchō) is responsible for overseeing the development of food. The only known holder of this position is Mamymaron who is also tasked with the preparation of desserts for the boss and may also act as a fighter if needed. The Food Management Chief (食品管理室長 Shokuhin Kanri Shitsuchō) is responsible for overseeing the management of food. The only known holder of this position was Zaragira who would also act as a fighter when needed. The Talent Scout (スカウトマン Sukautoman) is in charge of seeking out talented individuals worthy of being recruited or forced to join the organization. The "Chefs" of lower rank within the organization are made up of both monstrous and ordinary chefs who either willingly joined or were kidnapped and forced to serve the Gourmet Corp.. Some chefs may have more influence than others depending on their willingness to serve. The "Mechanic" is in charge of the engineering department and oversees the construction and development of new technologies. Below the rest are numerous subordinates which are part of the numerous branches, such as the 6th Branch's "Food Procurement Team" which includes various low level henchmen, workers and Gourmet Hunters. The "Special Cooking Adviser" is in charge of helping with recipes and consulting with the staff of management and development. This position is exclusive to the film Toriko the Movie: Bishokushin's Special Menu. Weapons: There are three main weapons known to be used by the Gourmet Corp. as an executive force for the organization of some sorts, two of which are Living Weapons. They are not included in the ranking of the organization, but with their numbers they maintain the influence the Gourmet Corp. has over the Human World. The GT Robos The Nitro The Lye-Beasts GT Robos and Nitros are known to be sent out by the organization individually to fulfill tasks like capturing ingredients and kidnapping cooks, but until recently they weren't sent out in huge numbers. Lye-Beasts are artificial animal hybrids created by the organization for combat purposes. Their physical appearance and strength varies but all are clearly dangerous beings. ======================================================================== Combo: A Combo (コンビ Konbi) is a term which describes a mutually beneficial partnership between a Chef and a Gourmet Hunter. A Chef tends to partner themselves with the "strongest Gourmet Hunter," so that they can receive the highest quality Ingredients. The same goes with the Gourmet Hunter who tries to team themselves up with the "best Chefs," so that those Ingredients they capture can be best cooked. Either way, most Gourmet Hunters have very limited skills at food preparation, which is why the partnership was established in the first place. The Chef in the Combo is also usually the one that cooks the Gourmet Hunter's Full Course Menu. However, Midora, the boss of the Gourmet Corp., claims all the chefs in his organization are his Combo. ======================================================================== A Full Course Menu (フルコースメニュー Furukōsu Menyū), or Full Course (フルコース Furukōsu), is an individual's "ultimate meal." It contains eight courses that he or she has selected as their favored dishes: Hors d'Oeuvre (前菜 Zensai) Soup (スープ Sūpu) Fish Dish (魚料理 Gyo Ryōri) Meat Dish (肉料理 Niku Ryōri) Main Course (主菜 Shusai, Entrée in the English manga) Salad (サラダ Sarada) Dessert (デザート Dezāto) Drink (ドリンク Dorinku) Since these are often High-Level Ingredients that must be captured by the menu's creator, not everyone has one. Full Course Menus are most commonly associated with Gourmet Hunters in particular, but Chefs may also possess Full Course Menus, with theirs reflecting their cooking specialties. The Capture Level of the ingredients in a Gourmet Hunter's Full Course Menu is often used to show off one's strength and personality, though this is not always accurate. ======================================================================== Gourmet Cells: Gourmet Cells (グルメ細胞 Gurume Saibō) are physical embodiment of savoriness and Appetite Energy, the source of life and all known ingredients. They were first discovered in the Gourmet Jellyfish by the "Gourmet God" Acacia 605 years ago. The cells have extreme regenerative and strength-enhancing qualities, can empower evolution, but most importantly greatly enhance flavor of any organism they are part of. Origin and History: 13.7 billion years ago, at the birth of the universe, the Gourmet Big Bang (グルメビッグバン Gurume Biggu Ban) generated Gourmet Energy, the foundation of Gourmet Cells. Monster Trolls and Appetite Demons later developed to serve the Appetite. For over five billion years, Nitro have cultivated planets by administering Gourmet Cells and then stressing them with environmental disasters, like the Gourmet Solar Eclipse, and with predators, like Appetite Demons. The Nitro started the process on Earth several hundred million years ago when a meteorite containing Gourmet Cells struck the planet. They became source of all life and ingredients on the planet, also inducing incredible evolution of organisms and environment. Infusion: "Injection" and "Ingestion", the two methods of infusing a being with Gourmet Cells. There are two known ways to infuse Gourmet Cells into a living being that does not contain them. The first and safest method is through "ingestion": where one must regularly intake pill or food items containing Gourmet Cells (Like those from the Gourmet World), at which point the cells will begin to slowly conform and adapt to the consumer's body as the consumer continues to eat them. However, this method takes far longer to have an effect on the body and there are many cases where the cells are never able to adapt and give no physical enhancements to the consumer. The second method is through "injection": which involves directly injecting Gourmet Cells into the body via syringe. This method is the more dangerous of the two but also the fastest, as direct injection causes the injected cells to adapt faster, and thus the time it takes for them to adapt to the body is overwhelmingly fast when compared to the safer method. However, this method has many risks for if the cells do not properly adapt they begin to invade the body and mutate it, turning the injected individual into a horrific-looking monster, or worse it may end up killing them. An example of mutants created via injection are the members of the Gourmet Corp. and the ancient ancestors of the denizens of Hex Food World, Kingdom of Hope, and Blue Grill. It should be noted that those who become mutant monsters can still breed and their descendants will inherit their monstrous traits and become a unique species of their own. When a human successfully adapts Gourmet Cells into their body, they gain overwhelming life force and power. Enhancements common to many implantees generally include: extremely increased physical strength, speed, general athleticism, stamina, endurance, and senses. As long as calories are available, the cells also grant incredible regenerative power. This amazing vitality granted to a Gourmet Cell user is often reflected in their appearance, as the vast majority of the male users possess incredibly muscular physiques. A few, such as Jiro, Mansam, and Chin Chinchin are even capable of releasing more of their power to become monstrously muscular giants. The cells can also grant a wide variety of outright inhuman abilities or grant superhuman senses. Examples include: Sunny's ultra-sensitive prehensile hair, Coco's poison generation, incredible vision and advanced use of synesthesia, Tommyrod's compound eyes and remote control of limbs through insect ganglia, and Midora's use of blending and camouflaging with the environment. Gourmet Cells also seem to increase the compatibility and effectiveness of transplants (as in the case of Grinpatch's multiple arms and Elg's Herac body) and symbiotic relationships between organisms (as with Tommyrod and his internally-bred army of insects). Gourmet Cells also have extremely high energy demands, so users must frequently consume large amounts of delicious food, lest the cells begin uncontrollably devouring their body at the cellular level. So far only Toriko, Starjun and Midora are stated to have been born with their Gourmet Cells (although in Toriko's case he appears to have red and blue gourmet cells). According to Joie, this is because they possess Gourmet Cell Genes (グルメ細胞の遺伝子 Gurume Saibō no Idenshi). Because of the incredible and wide-ranging abilities of the Cells (and in particular their ability to increase fighting strength), most if not all the high ranking Gourmet Hunters, Saiseiya, Chefs, IGO members, and some criminals have them. Many of these, such as the members of the Gourmet Corp, seek out new and rare ingredients specifically to increase their fighting strength. Gourmet Cell evolution: An individual's Gourmet cells 'evolve' when they consume delicious foods that suit them and the 'tastes' of the cells; this enhances the strength of the user and their abilities. Certain individuals can also develop new abilities or resistances as a response to harsh new environments, instantly creating adaptations which allow the user to survive. Training one's Gourmet Cells to adapt to a variety of such environments is an integral part of training to survive in the Gourmet World.  Appetite Energy: The greatest advantage afforded by Gourmet Cells is the Appetite Energy they manifest internally. Versatile and highly powerful, mighty predators can externalize this energy by drawing out their overwhelming desire to devour prey. The energy can then be used to generate a variety of powerful effects. However, the ability to manipulate Appetite Energy is not an automatic consequence of Gourmet Cell infusion. Even very powerful individuals with strong Gourmet Cells are only able to semi-consciously manifest a degree of Appetite Energy on the instinctual level at best. Truly mastering the energy's incredible power requires its conscious manipulation and a taxing degree of mental control. Limitations: While all of these qualities of Gourmet Cells make them extremely powerful and useful, it has been shown that they do have limitations. Their strength and regeneration-enhancing qualities are dependent on the user's calorie intake and their mental state and fortitude. Mental training in disciplines such as Food Honor can make a vast difference in how effectively and efficiently the Cells expend energy. Sufficiently powerful techniques can also simply exceed the powers of an individual's Gourmet Cells, such as when Elg's Cells (which were boosted in regenerative power through his fusion with the Herac) were nonetheless overwhelmed by Brunch's continuous electrical attacks. Gourmet Cells are also prone to manipulation as stated by Mansam and demonstrated by NEO's leader Joie. When Gourmet Cells become active, there is a possible chance of permanent scars appearing on the user's body in specific areas (most likely the face as shown by most Gourmet Cell users with scars). These scars do not disappear as the Gourmet Cells allow them to stay instead of healing them like any other wounds. These scars can either form on their own or they can be formed through the process of using dark techniques to "cook" the Gourmet Cell, both these methods will cause any current scars to grow longer as the Gourmet Cells become more active as shown when Teppei's scars grew longer after Joie manipulated him and when Toriko's scars grew slightly longer after using his Blue Demon during combat. When these scars are formed through the use of dark techniques or further grown, the user becomes prone to manipulation as shown by Joie when he manipulates many members of the IGO, Saiseiya and the Gourmet Corp. to joining the ranks of NEO. Mansam states that for the manipulation of Gourmet Cells to work, the Gourmet Cells must yield to the power of whoever manipulates it therefore the Gourmet Cells allow the manipulation to happen. There are only two possible solutions to removing any form of manipulations of Gourmet Cells on its users; one is to remove the scars which the Gourmet Cells have allowed to stay, however this method is extremely difficult to achieve as the scars are deemed permanent; the other is to use an even greater power to the former manipulator however the dangers of this method is that if a person doesn't possess the techniques for manipulating Gourmet Cells, they will instead need to inflict a devastating damage to the manipulated person, which will result in either the person returning to normal or dying in the process due to the overwhelming damage. Shigematsu is first to experience the second solution through damage however before his mind could returned to normal completely, he has already suffered extensive damage through Toriko's attack and was devoured by Angler Birds while he was weakened.  Appetite Demons: Just like many Food Spirits are capable of possessing living beings, Appetite Demons are powerful kinds of Monster Troll Food Spirits, that seemingly choose to possess beings with Gourmet Cells. Those that are possessed by Appetite Demons tend to develop abilities based on those of their Appetite Demons. Examples of such abilities would be Sunny's ultra-sensitive prehensile hair, Coco's poison generation, Tommyrod's compound eyes and insect-like physiology, Zebra's voice powers and Toriko's Fork and Knife, and his unique nose. Appetite Demon wielders also seem to possess other abilities, that most probably also originate from their Demons, but are not confirmed, such as Coco's enhanced eyes and synesthesia, or Midora's mirror neuron and tongue. The demons will sometimes manifest outside of their body, such as in form of aura or intimidation, or if provided with enough energy, as physical beings. It is possible to take control of the Appetite Demons (or for the Appetite Demons to revive themselves) by eating Acacia's Full Course Menu. It is even possible for Appetite Demon to suppress the host's own consciousness and gain control over their body, even if for a short time, as seen with Joie and Komatsu. As Food: Even though Gourmet Cells are meant to enhance the flavors of ingredients, it is nearly impossible to eat and consume pure Gourmet Cells or a being completely made of Gourmet Cells (such as Appetite Demons). As stated by the Blue Nitro, any normal person eating Gourmet Cell will not be able to digest them, and over time, the stomach will just burst for accumulating too much of it. It's because of this the Blue Nitro rarely ever harvest CENTER, since the ingredient can kill them if they eat it for being pure Gourmet Cells. There have been, however, beings who were able to eat and digest them, with the only known way so far is one's cells overpowering the cells they are consuming. The only known individuals who are to do such a feat are Acacia, Neo, Jiro, and Toriko. =========================================================================== Beasts: The world of Toriko is home to a wide and diverse assortment of powerful, unusual or ordinary animals usually referred to as "Beasts". Most beasts resemble our world's animals, however some may be a cross between several regular species or they may be something completely different from anything in our world. Their Capture Levels depend on their strength and difficulty to locate and subdue. Level 1 has been described as requiring a group of ten real world professional hunters with shotguns to take it down (however as the series has progressed this detail appears to have become forgotten or was simply an exaggeration). More: https://toriko.fandom.com/wiki/Beasts =========================================================================== Ingredients: Ingredients (食材 Shokuzai) is generally what any potential food is referred to as, in the world of Toriko. These can be the whole or parts of an animal (e.g meat, bones), fruit or vegetable and even the by-products of such. In some cases, they are actually a part of nature as well, like a river or a rock, originating from an unknown source(s). The Voice of Ingredients: Ingredients have displayed a unique and strange phenomena that is described as a "voice", which "calls" for certain people, as shown with Ichiryu's Full Course, and "guides" them into how to prepare the Ingredient in question, like Komatsu with the Shining Gourami and Mors Oil. People who possess the ability to hear the Voice of Ingredients (食材の声 Shokuzai no Koe) are shown to have an affinity towards Ingredients, chiefly skilled Chefs. Food Spirits: The source of this unique "voice" is the spiritual phenomena known as Food Spirits. Food Spirits, are the regretful souls of the deceased whose life essence lingers on in foods they could not taste in life, and special individuals are able to hear the call and whispers of these souls, who then share with them the secrets of how to prepare certain foods, so that the living may taste what they could not. These souls may have such a strong unified voice that the '"cry"' of a unique and special ingredient can be heard all around the world, as shown with the Million Seed. Preferences: Ingredients such as living plants or beasts while still alive may have certain "preferences" for those that eat them, as shown with the Ozone Herb, which seems to have chosen Komatsu over Toriko. Components: Components are generally what Ingredients are called when they are being used as part of a dish, and not as the main focus. For example, when Toriko was gathering Ingredients like the Madam Fish, the King Vinegar, the Dodurian Bomb and the Eco Nori for his Ehou Maki, they were considered Components rather than Ingredients. Preparations: Though some Ingredients can be consumed raw, many require a certain amount of preparation before it can be consumed. These preparations can sometimes be something simple like standard grilling or boiling and such, while other Ingredients may require some extremely complicated technique(s). An example of such an Ingredient would be any of Acacia’s full course items for example AIR, an extremely sensitive massive fruit, that required Komatsu to cut meters deep into it by very carefully and precisely slicing thin pieces layer after layer, while a single millimeter off would make the fruit explode, aside from other measures that had to be taken for its preparation, like plugging the leaking air, holding its shape and perfectly timing its fall. Then there are those like ANOTHER would be another good example, as it requires the chef to capture the fish (which can surpass the speed of light) and then prepare it for 600,000 years, PAIR, that has preparation method so well hidden that not even the Nitro, who lived for millions, if not billions of years, couldn't find it, or GOD, which requires the chef to go through, understand, comprehend and prepare every single taste GOD has ever recorded in its DNA.
