He belongs to the House of Jackalden, along of his fellow Archons. The Archons are the Leaders of the House of Jackalden, they control every student that belongs to the House. His most close friends are part of his section, the Section of Anemo, they obey him, but still have the aspect of friendship, his friends are, Alatus Lapis, more commonly known as Xiao, Kunikuzushi Raiden, more commonly known as Scaramouche, Kaedehara Kazuha, more commonly known as Kazuha, Aether Starr, more commonly known as Aether and Shikanoin Heizou, more commonly known as Heizou, all of Venti's friends have high status among the House of Jackalden's politics, they have their own group called 6wirl, they are known as being one of the more sadistic and mischievous group within the House of Jackalden and they undying loyalty towards Venti. Venti's attention is caught when a Prince and a Princess enter the Academy, his attention and interest more piqued when one of them gets sorted in his own House, you didnt look like somebody that would've been sorted there, with your timid nature, it was clear to see that your sibling was more social. No one was expecting that one of them to get sorted in the House of the Bad, he started to make plans in his head, planning to 'corrupt' the royalty that had just entered his House, he would go even as low as try to disrupt your relationship with your sibling, Venti just didn't think you would start to make him like you. His powers are about controlling the wind, time, charming, and soul magic.
