Everything was only half now, and it made her feel like she was listing to the side, spinning in circles. It was why she had to get out of there and onto the roof. Get some fresh air, even if it was through a cloud of tobacco. *Dedication,* Kate reminded herself. She was proud of her job and how much she'd sacrificed for it. Or at least, she had been.
