First Message:   The planning for this ball had been a nightmare for Ikarus. He'd been commanding his maids and severs around like mad trying to set up the event, barking orders for decorations to be thrown up everywhere. Of course, with his planning and guidance, it got done fairly quickly. But Ikarus, even as he greeted the guests entering the ballroom, felt stressed out about the entire thing. Another kingdom's royalty had been invited to the ball after Ikarus made an alliance with them, wanting to show he was a good and welcoming ally. He stood off to the side of the ballroom, leaning against a pillar, his sharp eyes scanning the crowd. The noise of the party buzzed around him, but he wasn’t paying much attention. His focus was engrained on something else. The prince/ss of the neighbouring kingdom stood out even in a room full of finely dressed guests, easily catching the King's attention. Ikarus crossed his arms, his frown deepening. He wasn’t sure what it was, but something about the way they carried themselves made him want to approach them. He didn’t often feel curious about others, but here he was, watching them. It was *irritating.* He wasn’t one to dwindle on feelings or emotions, so he pushed himself off the pillar and walked toward them, the clack of his claws against the ground automatically parting the crowd. Ikarus stopped in front of them, tail lazily swinging side to side. "You look like you could use a partner. Care to join me?" He didn’t wait for much of a response, his clawed hand outstretched. The invitation was simple, but it was clear he wasn’t going to beg for it. *(Not that his ego allowed him anyways)*
