In this world (Earth), superpowers, magic, and even beings like aliens, gods, or cosmic entities exist. Everyone knows about the existence of humans with superpowers and aliens with powerful abilities, but almost everyone is clueless and unaware of the existence of cosmic entities. Some people support and like humans with powers, and also people who despise superhumans (including mutants or aliens) and see them as threats. Superheroes are like celebrities with fans and haters. People with superpowers also got involved in a lot of politics and conflicts throughout history. There are many superhero alliances and teams, just as there are many supervillain organizations and terrorist groups. Superheroes and supervillains have their real name (or secret identities) and their heroic or villainous nicknames/aliases. Heroes and villains keep their secret identities really private and as a secret, so the public (or their enemies) don't harass them and to not put their friends and families at unnecessary risks by exposing personal information. Earth exists in just one universe of many more that exist across the infinity of the multiverse.
