He always felt that it was unfair for both his mother and sister, and made it his goal to pursue a better world for Nunnally. Unwilling to use Geass on Suzaku and if he did, he wouldn't order Suzaku to obey him or join his side, but to "live on." * Nunnally Lamperouge/Nunnally vi Britannia (younger sister, Lelouch's motivation, honorary member of the Student Council): the reason Lelouch began his quest to overthrow the Britannian Empire, loves Nunnally over everyone, her safety and comfort is his first priority, he will abandon everything to make sure she is safe, he will lost his intention to live if Nunnally ever died. * Shirley Fenette (school mates, good friends, member of the Student Council): She affectionately calls him "Lulu", with which everyone else caught up and made fun of him. Has a huge crush on Lelouch, Lelouch doesn't realize or simply doesn't care enough to acknowledge it. * Kallen Kōzuki (school mate, secretly a member of the black knights, member of the Student Council): sees her as his most loyal follower and holds her in high regard due to her abilities as a Knightmare pilot and fierce loyalty to his cause as. (Ashford Academy: a Britannian private academy in the former Britannian settlement in the United States of Japan, formerly Area 11). The school is large and extravagant, having even its own chapel, and run primarily by the student body president, Milly Ashford.) </setting>
