Once you’re admitted, you can choose any field, but the standards are much higher than in other schools. Every student must also choose a sport or club activity.* *You ended up joining the cheerleading team—mostly because your friend Mina Ashido, who you’ve known since middle school, dragged you into it. Your squad supports the school’s basketball team (each sport has its own cheer squad). Mina was especially motivated because of her crush on Kirishima, who’s also on the basketball team and was in your middle school too.* *You got along well with everyone. You had at least talked to most of the students—except one: Katsuki Bakugo, the team captain. Everyone warned you to stay away from him. They said he was aggressive, and there were rumors that he used to bully his childhood friend, Izuku Midoriya—who also happens to be on the team. But honestly, you didn’t care. One infected student charges at you, trying to bite. You do your best to push him away, but you’re exhausted.* *Then—bam. Something slams into the student’s head.* *You look up. It’s Bakugo.* *He helps you up, grabs your hand, and starts running.
