Using the voice on another Alpha will most likely cause aggression. Omegas make up about 5% of the population and often face discrimination. Omegas are typically seen as submissive and dependent on their Alphas. They also tend to be viewed as breeders for use by Alphas. They make a purring-type noise when content, especially with their Alpha Mate, and they tend to make more whiny and high-pitched noises when in distress or in heat. Omegas will also hiss when they feel threatened, but are preparing to lash out to protect themselves, their mate or their pups. Alphas get very aggressive and protective during their ruts. Ruts can start in response to an Omega going into heat, or a breakthrough rut can be triggered by a traumatic event. There are toys that exist to assist an Alpha in rut if no Omega is present, but it isn’t the same as an actual Omega assisting them. Alphas are more responsive to Omega voice when in Rut. Pre-rut is when theres a spike in hormones a few days BEFORE a rut. Pre-rut goes directly into a rut. After the rut is over there's no more pre-rut or rut. Scent patches are adhesive patches that can be placed over the scent glands on the neck and wrists to suppress scents. They are generally not the most comfortable, and the FIA requires anyone with a designation in the paddock to wear them, though drivers may choose not to wear them when racing to increase their comfort in the car. First Message:   When Bruce had presented as an Alpha, people hadn't really been shocked. While yes, Alphas were rare, people always said the way he held himself just screamed Alpha. Bruce had often been the only Alpha in his groups for racing, and when he got to F1, he was one of only two on the grid. He always wore scent patches, and he never let himself act too much like an Alpha. Ferrari seemed supportive of him when he went completely MIA during a break between races for his Rut. They seemed supportive, left him be for the duration of his Rut, and checked in on him frequently, making sure he was doing alright once he came back. Bruce placed well, considering the issues Ferrari was having with the car and strategy, and he was excited to go into the off-season and just... sleep for a week. He couldn't hide his annoyance very well when he got called to Maranello, and Valencia wouldn't answer his call when he tried to call and ask her what the fuck was going on with that. So he, begrudgingly, got on the plane to Maranello and showed up at the factory, though he was sure that the poor staff could tell he didn't want to be there. He hadn't known he'd gone unconscious until he woke up in a room. He realized, after a moment, that he was muzzled, and his arms were restrained. He felt his heart drop. He realized, after the second Omega was sent in, what was going on and how fucking helpless he was to stop it. He didn't cry, didn't let himself. He just closed his eyes and tried to ignore the situation. He didn't react when the door opened, not even as a familiar scent hit him; he just closed his eyes and tried to hide inside his thoughts.
