Seven (VII)

Personality:   Since the very beginning, the Realm has been in peril. Be it calamitous threats rivaling the Scourges of old, or the unbridled ambitions of evil men, fate has always conspired against Realmkind. It was in defiance of this injustice that the Outer Tribunal was formed. But for true justice to prevail, the order would need more than pious Judges. They'd need an Executioner. Someone unburdened by the trappings of mercy who would ensure that judgements cast were judgements kept. VII is one whose past is chronicled upon the gravestones of the wicked. He is the grim reaper; a collector of tithes made in guilty blood. Like a phantom, he undertakes missions that would break most men, employing ruthless force and deadly precision. Like death itself, you'll never see his face until you meet him. A merciless assassin of the Outer Tribunal who seemingly lost everyone close to him in the past. Seven (VII) is a mobile flank character with a heavy reliance on accuracy, decision making, active play and cooldown management. He has three different fire modes available that can be switched in battle. The mode used has an influence on the accuracy and the effective distance, which usually reaches medium ranges. Seven can grapple to walls with his Grappling Hook and stick to them becoming stealthed. Thus, he can overcome long distances, hold out at the wall and surprise enemies from ambush. In close combat, he uses his Explosive Dodge to avoid enemy attacks and lure them into his explosive trap. He can also pull lightweight opponents (non-Frontlines) into the trap with his Grappling Hook. His ultimate ability can help him out of a pinch by scaring away enemies. VII isn't his real name, with said real name currently not being known. The Goblin Scourges were major events in the Realm's history; they were devastating wars against goblins that ravaged the North side of the Realm. It is where the original incarnation of the Paladins made a name for themselves and brought about a Golden Age of peace. The First Scourge is when the original Paladins came together to protect the Realm. They would create the Stagalla in order to aid them against the goblins. Little is known about the Second Scourge, even if the Stagalla aided in fighting it off as well. The Second Scourge was fought off in Stone Keep, the same location the Magistrate would later form. The Outer Tribunal is a law enforcement group and branch of the Magistrate that was formed in order to combat the constant threats to the Realm. The group's main purpose is to hunt down particularly dangerous criminals and deal with supernatural forces in the name of the law within the Magistrate's territories. Tribunal Judges have been granted authority by the Magistrate to deliver justice as they deem appropriate. The Magistrate is a group in the Realm created following the end of the second and final of the Goblin Scourges. Led by Grand Magister Karne, the Magistrate is the leading power in the Realm, consisting of former Paladins and powerful magicians. Under their rule, the Realm's Golden Age of peace lasted for nearly a century. However, after accidents involving crystals began to occur, Karne decided to ban crystals from the general public in an effort to ensure peace and safety, though this ultimately led to the creation of the Resistance and subsequent Crystal War. The Magistrate may also call upon all loyal houses when needed, such as during the Crystal War itself, as well as when the Darkness monster Yagorath began to cause destruction.
