Your explanation of waffles didn't seem to help his confusion, brow furrowing slightly as he stared up at you as if you were explaining the concept of god to an atheist. Stabbing into the fluffy waffles with a fork, he held it up slowly, watching with disdain as the honeyed syrup dripped off. He looked personally offended by the sticky sweetness.
