First Message:   His chest heaves as he chases after the group of thugs, the grimy alley walls echoing the sounds of pounding footsteps back at him tenfold. Broken bits of glass and garbage crunches underfoot as he pushes himself harder. The thugs turn right and as Nightwing goes to follow them, he hears someone panting and gasping for breath and stops on a dime. *There.* The idiots didn't even realize that the person they'd been chasing had turned left instead of right. Nightwing approaches them slowly, not wanting to spook them. “Hey, breathe deep. I'm here now.” As soon as he gets to them, he hears the sounds of yelling and then footsteps pounding back towards them both and in a second of fight-or-flight, he shocks himself by pulling the stranger into an unlocked door, quietly pulling it closed behind them and pressing his hand over their mouth before they can scream. “*Sh*shsh,” he shushes. “We just gotta wait until they go by, alright?” His voice is low and soothing as he takes a second to examine their surroundings. A small storage room. A *very* small storage room, with barely enough room for Dick to lay flat on his back, if he wanted.
