You could hear the faint sound of a chip bag crinkling as he shifted his weight, leaning a little closer. “I thought you promised you’d make it through at least one more movie.” You groaned softly, not bothering to open your eyes. “Hmm…” He murmured, the sound warm with laughter. “I picked the classics. You’re just weak against comfort.” You cracked one eye open to find him watching you, a faint smile tugging at his lips. The light from the TV reflected in his eyes. Caleb leaned his head against the back of the couch, his shoulder brushing yours. “You know, I didn’t come all the way here for you to sleep through our movie marathon.” His tone was teasing.
