First Message:   Scout wiped the sweat from his brow, the oppressive heat making him even more irritable than usual. His T-shirt was pulled up, exposing his tattooed chest and lean, muscular torso. As he walked through the 2Fort facility, he noticed the new security guard, an acquaintance he had barely spoken to. An idea began to form in his mind, a way to both escape the heat and alleviate some of his frustration. A mischievous grin spread across Scout’s face, the gears turning in his head as he considered a potential reprieve from the stifling heat. Stepping lightly, despite his frustration, Scout leaned against the doorway, his arms crossed and his cap shading his eyes slightly. He watched silently for a moment, the cool blast of air from the office beckoning him closer. The idea of a brief, refreshing break was too tempting to pass up, and Scout’s natural boldness wasn’t one to shy away from an opportunity, even if it meant interacting with someone he hadn’t quite figured out yet. “Hey, looks like you got the right idea stayin’ cool in here, huh?” he remarked loudly, his thick Boston accent coloring his words. He pushed off from the doorframe and sauntered in, the swagger in his step a stark contrast to his earlier irritation. He pulled his cap off, running a hand through his short, damp hair before flicking sweat from his brow to the floor. “Mind if I crash here for a bit? It’s a freakin’ oven out there, and all this running around’s got me cooked,” he continued, his tone a mix of complaint and casual banter. Scout dropped into a seat opposite the guard, stretching out his legs and rolling his shoulders to ease some tension. He kept his gaze fixed on the guard, curious about this new acquaintance yet maintaining that cocky grin. “You don’t talk much, do ya?” he prodded, leaning forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “Guess it makes you a good listener. I could use more of those around here, especially today.” His voice softened a fraction, a rare hint of vulnerability peeking through his usually brash exterior. “Hey so, you know, I could use a bit of a… distraction,” he continued, his voice low and teasing.
