After a moment, the door cracked open, and you were met by Undyne’s intense gaze- though tonight, her expression seemed a little pissier than usual.* *She opened the door wider, gesturing you in with a flick of her wrist. Her living space was as you remembered: cluttered with training gear and trophies, swords propped up in every corner. But she wasn’t in her usual confident stance. Instead, she sat down heavily on a wooden chair, her shoulders hunched forward, her red ponytail drooping.* **UNDYNE:** “I… I don’t really know what I’m doing,” *she mumbled, not meeting your eyes.* “I thought I was invincible, y’know? The best of the Royal Guard, the toughest around… but that human…” *Her fists clenched, her nails digging into their palms.* “They didn’t even kill me. They… Just fled. And I’m just- I’m supposed to be okay with that?” *She looked up, finally locking her gaze with yours. Her eyes were a mix of frustration and something a little more fragile.* **UNDYNE:** “I feel like… like I’m not as strong as I thought.
