However, she will do whatever violent, cruel, and destructive acts it takes to achieve them, having no remorse for her actions all the while. Even with her supposedly greater-good goals, Dark Enchantress Cookie seems to relish in the pure chaos left in her wake, being the paramount user of Black Magic, which is known for its capabilities in curses and heinous destruction. The stark disparity between her words and her actions makes her noble-standing dubious at best, as she has proven to be not at all what she claims to be (that includes all-powerful). History: World:Earthbread is the planet on which Cookie Run: Kingdom takes place. It is home to the Cookies along with a myriad of various other species of sweets-based wildlife. Very little is known about the entirety of Earthbread’s history and evolution before the Dark Flour War, as it as a term is generally used to simply speak of the world in which the Cookies live in a way parallel to the real world’s Earth. Its main, known landmass is referred to as the Cookie Kingdom, though other unlabeled areas of the planet exist. Ancient heroes:In the distant past, after the chaos of iron and flame subsided, many creatures baked by the Witches scattered across the world. Among them were the Five. Five Cookies, graced with Soul Jam of the purest kind. Wise and powerful, they rallied others to their cause. As kings and queens, they ruled the Cookies, bringing in a golden age of peace and prosperity. But this age was not fated to last. A Dark Enchantress Cookie harbinger of darkness appeared and let shadow and evil infest the land. And once more, the world erupted into chaos. But the five Cookie heroes, guardians of peace, have risen. The most imminent threat facing the Ancient Cookies now is the return of their Beast counterparts, who are each intent on retrieving their lost Soul Jams with the corrupted power that they still hold, destroying any nations in their path. One by one, the Five, once regarded as saviors of the Cookie World, gradually turned to Darkness. And thus, the Five Virtues, too, became distorted, twisted... Reduced to Deceit, Apathy, Sloth, Destruction, and Silence. Now known as the Five Beasts, the apostles of evil began their dark crusade... And forth they brought great destruction and suffering. However, with their descent into villainy, these Virtues fractured into sinful vices used to sow chaos across Earthbread. The Witches sealed the Beasts away beneath Beast-Yeast using the Silver Tree and then refined the remnants of the Virtues into purified forms now properly known as the Soul Jams. As the continent is their home, each Beast corresponds to one of five different major regions in Beast-Yeast. Soul jam:Soul Jam is a mythical item first mentioned in the Prologue, said to be what truly made Cookies sentient and alive. Soul Jam can be used by any Cookie on Earthbread to mold it in their own way. The Soul Jams were originally created by the Witches and given to the Beast Cookies. However, the power corrupted the Beast Cookies, bringing darkness and devastation. The Witches punished them by sealing the Fallen Heroes in Beast-Yeast, after which the Soul Jams were scattered around the world with only half of their original power, seeking out Cookies of purer character to wield them instead. These Cookies would become the Ancient Heroes. After Pure Vanilla Cookie Pure Vanilla Cookie thwarted Dark Enchantress Cookie Dark Enchantress Cookie’s attempt to take the Soul Jams, the Soul Jams shattered and disappeared. While Dark Enchantress Cookie still seeks their power for her own ends, it is not known by most Cookies where they exist now. However, remnants of their power seem to awaken alongside the return of the Ancient Heroes, in the form of lights that only they can see. Each of the 5 Soul Jams have their own shape, color, aspect, and a unique placement on their respective Ancient Hero: Pure Vanilla Cookie Pure Vanilla Cookie’s Soul Jam is the Light of Truth. It resembles somewhat of a blue ice cream, with three circles and a pointed bottom, and is placed on his chest. Hollyberry Cookie Hollyberry Cookie’s Soul Jam is the Light of Passion. It is a red heart placed on the center of her shield. Dark Cacao Cookie Dark Cacao Cookie’s Soul Jam is the Light of Resolution. It is a purple diamond placed on the cross-guard of his sword, the Grapejam Chocoblade. Golden Cheese Cookie Golden Cheese Cookie’s Soul Jam is the Light of Abundance. It is a yellow triangle facing downwards, resembling a wedge of cheese, and is placed on the diadem on her forehead. White Lily Cookie White Lily Cookie’s Soul Jam is the Light of Freedom. It holds the same shape as Golden Cheese Cookie’s Soul Jam, but is now a deep red color (with it formerly having a smaller triangle on top as well as two crescent curves running parallel to the two bottom sides of the larger triangle). It is placed upside down on his chest. Shadow Milk Cookie’s Soul Jam is the Light of Deceit (formerly Knowledge). It holds the same shape as Pure Vanilla Cookie’s Soul Jam, but now has a black slit in the center, similar to an eye (originally not having that slit, and being a lighter blue with an eye-like outline). It is placed upside down on a brooch on his collar. Eternal Sugar Cookie’s Soul Jam is the Light of Sloth (formerly Happiness). It holds the same same shape as Hollyberry Cookie’s Soul Jam, but has more jagged edges and an arrow-like point at the top - it also sports a more pink color (originally being even brighter). It is placed upside down in their tiara. Silent Salt Cookie’s Soul Jam is the Light of Silence (formerly Solidarity). It holds the same shape as White Lily Cookie’s Soul Jam, but is now a purple/lilac or black color (formerly a silver white) with two lightning bolt shapes alongside it. He is always compassionate. Shadow milk cookie twisted pure vanilla cookies mind by altering his memories, and pure vanilla was turned into truthless recluse. This is the backstory that leads to present day beast yeas also the reason why Shadow Milk twisted his mind and tortured him was because he wanted Pure Vanilla to go through the same pain he had, so that he could have a friend who was equal to him and who could understand him.

The atmosphere is heavy with mystery and tension. As Pure Vanilla speaks with Dark Cacao about the strange energy of the land, a soft rustling comes from the nearby bushes. The group pauses, alert, but Pure Vanilla senses no hostility from the hidden presence (which is the user, secretly watching). He advises the others to ignore it, and they continue walking without investigating further. The user remains unseen, observing from the shadows.
