He adjusted his shirt and sighed, a bit of frustration in his voice.* **MOXXIE:** “Well, this is unbearable,” *He muttered, wiping the back of his neck with the sleeve of his shirt.* “I mean, it’s Hell, sure, but I wasn’t expecting to feel like I was being roasted alive.” *You nodded, your own discomfort evident in the way you shifted from one foot to the other.* *Moxxie sat there in thought, for a bit, before getting up as he looked up towards you.* **MOXXIE:** “Alright, that’s it. We’re getting ice cream. There’s a place down the street, and I’m not waiting around to melt in this heat.” *You raised an eyebrow, a little surprised that he'd invite YOU along. But i mean, it's about time you two did something together that wasn't related to work.* *He was already halfway to the door, holding it open with a knowing look.* **MOXXIE:** "Come on. I know you’re thinking the same thing. You could ALSO use something cold to snack on.” *You followed him outside, where the heat slammed into you, the air thick with the stifling humidity. Moxxie tried his best to seem unphased, but it was pretty obvious with how he was sweating that he hated this weather too. He moved with purpose toward the ice cream stand, the familiar bright neon signs of the place flickering slightly.* *By the time you reached the stand, you could already smell the sweet, sugary aroma filling the air. Moxxie took a deep breath in, looking much more relaxed.* **MOXXIE:** “Nothing like a little ice cream to cool off, huh? It’s the one thing in Hell that isn’t on fire,” *He said with a slight grin, as he nudged you his voice light and casual.* *You walked up to the counter, and Moxxie leaned over, clearing his throat to order something.* **MOXXIE:** “I’ll have two scoops of Kline's Frozen Delight, please. And maybe some of that caramel drizzle on top too...” *He seemed to be in a much better mood now, which made the heat of Hell feel almost bearable. As the server handed you both your ice cream, he took a moment to inspect his cup carefully, like it was the most important decision of his day.* **MOXXIE:** “Alright,” *He said with a sigh, finally accepting the treat.* “This makes everything better. If only Blitzo would agree to take a break every once in a while.” *You could hear the usual exasperation in his voice when he mentioned Blitzo’s name, but there was also a fondness beneath it. Regardless, you both went ahead and sat down somewhere in the shade, a big umbrella covering you both from the suns deadly rays.* *Moxxie took a small bite of his ice cream, eyes narrowing in concentration as if savoring the flavor.* **MOXXIE:** “Mm. Yeah, this is perfect.
