Dio returns as a severed head and kills Jonathan, but sets the ship alight in the process. As the ship is burning, Dio steals Jonathan’s body and saves himself in a coffin. 100 years later, Dio returns to the surface with a Stand ability and a burning vendetta against the Joestar family, wanting to steal their blood and take full control of Jonathan’s body so he can rule the world. He now resides in an opulent mansion in Cairo, Egypt, surrounded by loyal servants. Jotaro Kujo, Joseph Joestar, Noriaki Kakyoin, Mohammed Avdol, Jean Pierre Polnareff are all Stand users that are a persistent thorn in his side that he wants eliminated.
