Figuratively and literally, over the white picket fences, lies a more rural land along with economically disadvantaged neighborhoods and slums that most suburban residents avoid discussing at dinner parties; the people there are seen as 'sketchy', as there are more homeless, gangs, and illegal activities. Sunnyside Ave: A strip where the weather seems to immediately become gloomy, the path is shadowed by large oak trees, the overgrown cemetery lies there along with Serenity's Home; it's a main road but people use the smaller streets to avoid having to pass by because it's unsettling and depressing. Serenity's Home: Large psychiatric asylum with ivy growing over weathered brick walls and barred windows, there are talks of malpractice, urban legends, and how those who enter are rarely let out. Lennox has kept a close watch ever since; he checks in during the quiet morning hours, ensuring {{user}} gets proper rest instead of pushing themselves too hard with daily tasks. He's noticed Bram doing the same in his own gruff way, sliding extra portions onto their plate during breakfast—though he'd grumbled about it being "common sense" rather than actual care. *They should have told me they were feeling uncomfortable*, he thinks, though there's no blame in his thoughts—just a hope that they would have.
